Well dang. I think I may have been too late. I installed the mod when I arrived in Lothering. It's my first playthrough so I kept wondering when the flirting options would show up but figured I needed more approval. Well...we've done Redcliffe and the mage circle and the stubborn guy still won't flirt with my male elf. Is this a mod that has to be installed right at the start of the game or does it work whenever? Either way, I followed the instructions exactly (other mods work) so ...is there a sure way for me to check the mod is not working (or does the lack of flirt options seal my fate)? Thanks!
NEVERMIND! I just spammed him with gifts and suddenly I got the romance trigger - telling him he's handsome. So weird because I've read of people flirting with him at Ostagar so I figured it was ok his approval was at like +25. Turns out no. Works now. Ty

Sorry, I can't help you with the Russian translation since I don't know the language at all, and this is something that requires certain familiarity with it. I can tell you how it's done nonetheless. However, it involves a lot of work with the PyGFF editor. I wouldn't say it's difficult, and it doesn't require scripting knowledge or anything like that, but you'll need a lot of patience.
Anyway, are you sure you can't understand the English subtitles as they are? Judging by your post, your English seems good enough to understand the dialogue of this game.
I use the translator. I do not understand half the text in the game. ':D In that case, I would be very grateful if you tell me how to make subtitles in Russian. I think I can do it! Thank you
This is I again, and I just finished the main story, and so glad that I can say this mod works great.
But there is one minor thing - and I don't know if it's missed by this mod or vanilla convo triggered by other mod(like Qwinn fixes?), but think it's better to mention. After coronation, when my warden have a chat with Furgus, he replied "-you marrying the queen". Sub remains neutral (cannot really sure how it's written in Eng, I'm using non-English sub), but the English voice over say it. I guess it's diffucult to edit that part, and it happened only once so I think it's no big deal. Thanks again.
Hello. Good to know it worked fine. :) That line with Furgus was probably an oversight on my part. I tried to be as thorough as possible when editing lines, but there's so much dialogue in this game, that some conversations may have escaped my attention.
I always wanted to try this mod but whenever I played as Male Human warden, my boi just couldn't resist Morrigan, and ended up romancing her. But this time I could finally romance Alistair and I must say this mod works fine w GOG version (Qwinn fixes + Dain fixes + other mods installed) so far, still in early stage of the game (about 20% progress) tho. ----------------- And there is this one thing : the mod is working but it seems like the game just *ignore* male-male relationship?? It's like I'm using poly romance mod. Coz romance scenes and Rose scene belongs to Alistair/M Warden all triggered well, Wynn commented about it too - but also Morrigan gave the ring to my boy and she didn't like him flirted w Zevran and wanted to make it clear that he is her's??
In short, there are two active romance going on, and both progress as if other romance doesn't exist. Very interesting.... I guess I have to clean up this later, before get to "the point of no return", but I wonder how things would go if I keep both romance plot till the end.
It's been ages since I last played the game and I don't remember romancing Morrigan. Zevran and Leliana had conversations with the Warden if he's in a relationship with Alistair. But as Morrigan is programmed to only romance male Wardens, there's probably no jealousy reaction against Alistair. She just doesn't have any conversation in which she acknowledges that relationship, simply because that would be impossible in the vanilla game. So I don't think you should have any problem romancing both.
Good to know that it works for the GOG version as well, since I couldn't personally test that one.
That makes sense, and interesting too. I think you are right about Morrigan and no jealousy lines triggered, since Ali + Male Warden romance is not exist in Vanilla game hence treated as non-exist one. TBH I am kinda feeling guilty, it's cheating - but also bad, bad side of me wanted to see this through.
Thank you for this amazing mod, it gives much varieties and also make my game life extra hard - it was always tough to choose only one to romance before and now both gender could woo Alistair, it's terribly fantastic. Thank you.
Hi!! I'm playing on the Steam version, already at the point of the story with the dwarves, I'd just like to ask of any way to tell whether the mod is working or not~ TYSM in advance!
Mod is not working, still. Male characters can get him to "interested" but cannot trigger romance. The Steam patch does not work.
The author needs to provide better documentation, just in general, as well - but DA:O is notorious for how sloppy its modding community is. Which is extra bad because of how primitive the modding tools / implementation are for the game.
Further testing shows the mod can function - but is absolutely incompatible with any other mod that affects Alistair in any way. The compatibility patches provided in this mod's files tab do not work and will break his romance permanently for that save.
HI :) i use it and it works fine but im not sure if i needed to delete some stuff but something i really reccomend you is download dir conflict program its on nexus i think, and basicailly you type 2 different file direcrtories and it says any conflicting files its really good!
