I have a couple questions and a comment or two...

What is difference, if any, between the AI part of this and Smarter Enemies?

Does this work with Combat Tweaks?

I thought that friendly fire was 100% on hard for the pc?

The problem I see with decreasing magical bonuses on equipment for vanilla and even IA is that nearly everyone uses modded armor and that would seem to make any modded armor overpowered, and it would be near impossible to include all armor. I personally like and would prefer idea of certain enemies having better equipment, as long as it makes sense... no bandits in dragonbone for example.

While I understand the idea of eliminating potion chugging from the game, artificially limiting them by increasing the cooldowns seems to defeat the realism and immersion, and really is just as bad as giving bonuses and resistances or handicaps. There is no reason you can't chug potions, if you want to. I think the more fun way is to make their use more strategic by giving it a cost. Then a player can decide if the cost is worth using them. While you could have a 'permanent' cost in an injury, there could be a more temporary and immediate, just as reducing health or stamina regeneration, movement speed, penalty to damage (decrease strength or attack), decrease defense, idea of being a less effective fighter for some period of time. If you drink a certain number than you get an injury. In addition, you could have each potion be less effective than the one before.

I also like idea of enemies (and even allies) having potions and being able to use them, as well as bombs and poisons.

Another idea I've had is to have the beginning level be higher and level progression slower, give the player and all enemies, companions etc a logical and realistic level of talents, skills, attributes and spells and make any addition ones harder to get. Alistair is a fully trained templar with all their skills, so he should be able to smite a mage at the beginning of the game; Wynne be practicing magic for decades, Zevran is a trained assassin, Leliana was a bard for years, Sten a solider, etc. I know for me personally it is a bit dull at the beginning of a new game with only 3 talents. A player could start at level 15 and then instead of gaining 20 or 30 levels throughout the game only gain 10.

      From the description page.

If your using it with improved atmosphere then place it into the custom folder in IA.

If you feel sympathy for the darkspawn then what would you tell if the Architect's followers and the Mother's followers had different tints of armors, so we could distinguish them. In Kal'Hirol they were distinquishable only by names, but not by appearance. It looked more like a sparing than a civil war with same armors.
