Arcane warrior spec seems to be broken. Cannot use magic attribute to equip armor. First toggle passive ability does nothing.

Yeah I'm just now noticing this too. Might need to reload a save and pick a different class

You prolly can fix it with a console, if you are content with just swapping a class.

This may be a dumb question, but at the beginning of this act, how do I get to the hinterlands? I can't get out of Lotheirng.

Never mind, sorry I missed the path next to the Chanrty.

Random extra thought I really love all of the levels you create, they're so beautiful and feel really alive in a way I know from experience it can be hard to do. My favourite so far are the Highever market and courtyard and the Hinterlands. So pretty.

Thank you. Making levels was certainly the hardest individual part of the mod for me, thus nice to hear the effort and pain was worth it :)

I encountered a Lonely Ruins crash problem which seemed insurmountable, and found a fix for it. Posting here it case it helps anyone else.

My specific issue was this: After you kill all of the spell wisps, there is a large door that leads into a corridor that goes right or left. On the left side a large tree root is blocking the way so you have to go right. However, when I went right, the game would crash. It did not matter what I had equipped or who the selected character was. I solved the problem by initiating a conversation with Zhanna before entering the corridor. I am playing as an apostate mage, and she wanted to talk to me about being an apostate and then teach me a new spell. Once I had completed the conversation, I was able to walk down the corridor into the next room with no problems whatsoever.

Thanks to Kahsah and Percorion for creating a great mod! I can't wait to see what happens next.

I just play this quest mods now so im not sure whether i will get a reply. Tried to talk to Zhanna before entering the corridor but she only said 'focus on helping Lilith' so im stuck and yes, it crash everytime I went right. Tried to change character, but it still crash or sometimes freeze my pc. Anyone have solving this problem?

I finally able to pass that, somehow it let me go through if i press H (i am going alone without any companion) and if i press H again to call my companion after i pass that alley to the right, it freeze again. So im going alone until i see statue upstair that was blocked by fire and there was a talk about zhanna want to wait while me and lilith continue. After that, everything runs normally

Very well done. I easily endorsed all of the mods and gave all of them 4.5 out of 5.0. The only thing I took a half star off for was the lack of voices, but all things considered, this is probably the greatest fan made mod (combined with the other Acts) I have played. I've played "The Shattered War", "Rose of Eternity" and "Thirst" and this one as for details, design and painstaking interaction (with dialogue) for characters is amazing. In a way, I almost can understand why there aren't voices. It would've been a great undertaking to do that, but still, it's the only thing that is lacking.

My review: A good story, by and large, but a bad gaming experience due to tediousness and confusion. Would've made for a better book/short story, and probably a fantastic play.

I've just had to close the game and uninstall these mods after being confused about where to go and what to do for the last time (where is Irrick in Denerim?). Playing an apostate was extremely underwhelming, except when it was overwhelming in bad ways (can I use magic here without story repercussions? should I when it will create a wisp that will beat my ass (Act 1)). I can see how creating a day/night cycle and focusing on where the character sleeps each night sets an appropriate tone, but it also happens to be totally uninteresting and non-interactive, while also being tedious to go through the motions of myself. Also, going from place to place across the Ferelden map (and often local maps) after almost every conversation, especially when brief, is exhausting. This may have been less exhausting with voice-overs, but even then... The solution would have been either more interactivity in one place, or automatic transitions of some kind.

The environments were beautiful and sensible, though often a task to traverse.

The characters were fantastic overall. I particularly liked what I saw of the female human companion with the wolf (her conversation with the master of coin in Highever was brilliant). Overall, it felt like perhaps some of the characters were too wise in general, or too thoughtful to different considerations, or knowledgeable in regards to the motivations/feelings of other characters, but that's my personal feeling. And there was a bit too much of characters speaking in riddles that I think would have again worked better over voice, but were hard to make sense of in text.

The keeping with the lore of the game was fantastic. Ellya's conversation with the Keeper-in-training felt like you nailed what the Dalish were all about better than the original game, I absolutely loved it.

Thanks for taking the time to offer your review of the mod and it's especially nice to hear you enjoyed the characters and levels.
Also, thank you for replying to kylepie114, I didn't get any alert that they posted.

I agree. The only real issue I'm having with this thus far is simply trying to find an area where I can load the world map to travel to somewhere else. I'm running into blocked dead ends which used to open up into areas; trying desperately to find where I'm going next.

Does the arcane warrior work with other mods or the original campaign?

Good story & characters, but really tedious gameplay wise.
Wish the maps were more condensed to cut down on the constant backtracking.
    Thank you.

Hi, first of all terrific work. I find everything so far very successful and look forward to starting the third part soon.
I have a question: Can you give the gifts in the game or are they only for sale? Unfortunately none of my companions will accept a gift.

Thanks, Happy to hear you've enjoyed the story so far.
The mod isn't setup to give gifts to the companions. You build your friendships/romances by talking with the characters and having them in your party.

Hi! First of all, thank you for this mod; I really enjoyed the first act, and I also love this one so far.
I'm playing as an apostate, and accidentally summoning demons while using magic was a very nice touch imo, it really makes me feel like my character is indeed still inexperienced, and I liked that Zhanna had something to say about it. In fact, it seems there is a lot of mage specific dialogues, so I'm glad I choose to play as a mage for my first playthrough.
That being said, I'm stuck in the quest "The Once Arl of Denerim". After I left the Abandoned Compound, I tried to enter the Arl's estate, but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I eventually thought that it wasn't accessible because I still had some pieces of gear on me. So I reloaded a save right after talking with Irrick, but now I simply can't leave the Abandoned Compound. I tried leaving all my gear in the chest, keeping four daggers, then just two, keeping some pieces of armor, or even nothing at all. I reloaded several earlier saves, but I still can't leave; the exit door can't be interacted with. English is not my native language so hopefully what I said is still understandable.

Thanks for the compliments and also noticing the apostate specific content. We tried hard to make sure it wasn't just a class with magic, but one that the people around you recognize that you're special too :D

When clicking on the fancy store gear chest, you should have dialog popping up saying something like "Irrick suggested you use this chest to store your gear". Use the "Leave to begin mission" option, which will store all of your gear automatically. and set the proper plot flag. If you're taking items out of that chest, then I think that is blocking you from leaving.
To know if the mod thinks you stored your gear successfully or not, click on that chest again and it should now say "This chest contains all of your gear. You're ready to go." If you do interact with the chest's items themselves, it's important that the you do not take an item out of the chest as your last action. So if you decide you do want back like a dagger or two, take out also a piece of armor or something in addition. Then close the chest, then reopen it and put that armor piece back in.

Once you are out of the compound, you need to talk with the elf Vincent in the alienage. He'll be able to get you into the Arl's Estate since he works there.

Thank you for your quick answer. It worked and I was able to do this quest; I have now finished the mod and I absolutely loved it! I don't know why I didn't play it sooner, but I'm also glad because now I'll be able to enjoy the third act right away :p Thanks again for making and sharing this great mod!

No problem. Glad to hear that was the only major issue. Hopefully you enjoy act 3 as well.
