Hello! The console command works fine. I'm just wondering if the boots are supposed to be restricted? When I spawned them the boots where still restricted to the Champion class.
It's entirely possible that I screwed up on that, since screwing things up is what I do best. Please accept my apologies, and I'll try to fix it ASAP.
<some time passes...>
Indeed. I did screw up, but it wouldn't be a day with 'day' in its name if that wasn't the case.
The original version of the mod ('River Dane not just for Loghain') only removed the Loghain-only restriction. Later, I also removed the Champion requirement, and changed the name of the mod to 'River Dane for All'.
When I reuploaded my files to the Nexus, I missed the final 'River Dane for All' version, because I'm an idiot.
The final, correct, matches-the description version of the files are available. Or should be, because one cannot discount the likelihood that I did it wrong. Again.
tl; dr, I'd uploaded the wrong files; I apologize for my incompetence; the right files should be there now.
ETA that you'll need to console-spawn the boots again to see the correct attributes.

In response to post #21304774. #21306474 is also a reply to the same post.
where did you get the retexture then? your armor looks much better than the game .
It's not a retexture, it's an override of the vanilla tints. The texture in that 'cap is the vanilla Bioware texture. (Tints and textures are two completely different things.)
TBH, I can't remember exactly what I was using in my game back then... I would add and subtract armour tint mods until I hit a combination where the Dragonbone wasn't fuchsia and the other metals didn't make me cry.
My best guess is that it was Less Gaudy Tints and Re-Tint, but honestly, that's just a guess and a hazy remembrance. Sorry.

Anyone who comments to just say they don't like the mod will be blocked from my content.
Constructive criticism is fine. Informing me that you personally have no use for a mod is of no value.

I don't use the vanilla armour tints in my game (or rather, I didn't). Silverite is normally much brighter and shinier (as seen here).
Whatever the normal stats are. Like the description says, all I did was remove the Loghain-only restriction and throw together a console script.
