Better Bannhammer (Teagan tweaks + fixes)
Version 1.0
by yers truly, theskymoves

Bann Teagan. Lord Teagan. Teagan. Teeeeeeegaaaaahhhnn. So many names for just one man.

The Bannhammer (OMG, there's another one!) has three different display names (that floaty text over his head?), one for each of his three different UTC (equipment assignment) files. I changed the two endgame files (for the Battle of Denerim arc and the epilogue) to match his initial Redcliffe appearance, with all three now displaying the name "Bann Teagan".

I've also made what I think are appropriate tweaks to Teagan's equipment.

It seems incongruous that Teagan, given his thoughtful and serious nature, is initially encountered clad in noble clothing, and not properly geared to defend the Redcliffe Chantry. Likewise, it bothered me that such a prominent NPC wears such pedestrian armour in his other appearances. To that end, I've replaced his noble clothing and Heavy Chainmail with the Ceremonial armour set, as that is the set he has in his initial inventory, albeit un-equipped.

And then there is the matter of his weapons.

In Redcliffe, he carries an ordinary Longsword and a Redcliffe Shield. For the Battle of Denerim, it's a Longsword, and Eamon's Shield. And for all things epilogue, Teagan is inexplicably equipped with a Dalish Dar'Misaan sword, a small round wooden shield, and an Antivan Crossbow. I've given all three Teagans the same weaponry: A Longsword, and the Redcliffe Elite Shield, with the thinking that as Eamon's brother, Teagan would have a shield "one better" than the rank-and-file. (The Redcliffe Elite and Eamon's Shield are visually identical, BTW.)

Finally, I've included my personal tweak of Teagan's morph, which changes his hair to the similar style that doe NOT have that silly braid. I didn't touch anything else, and it is an entirely optional component, if the foofy braid is your kind of thing.

To install, drop the tsm_bannhammer and tsm_no_braid_teagan folders into the usual place (\My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override). To uninstall, walk that back. And if you don't want the optional morph, omit the tsm_no_braid_teagan folder.

No dependencies, no requirement mods, this is all vanilla, baby. Gotta install it before entering each of the three affected areas, or the changes won't appear. (That means before the first world map transition to Redcliffe. Before the world map transition to post-Landsmeet Redcliffe. Before
killing the Archdemon and epilogue! happens.)

Known conflicts are any other mod that edits the following equipment assignment files

arl110cr_teagan.utc
cli300cr_teagan.utc
epi200cr_teagan.utc

and for the optional morph,

hm_arl110cr_teagan.mor.

Cutscene!Teagan will still have whatever Bioware put on him, including teh braid. Nothing to be done about that. Sorry.
