Per my request, as I am a relative and live two houses down from him, he adjusted this mod to my liking. The mod, as to my liking, is the one posted here.
I believed that fireballs at medium range was too close. Enemies would consistently blow themselves and other enemies up with it. The overwhelm was fun and challenging at first. I thought it was neat for a while. But after some time I found it to be tedious.
Any other changes he may have made to supplement the tweak of fireball range is unknown to me. My last play through with this mod I found fun, realistic, challenging (I don't cheat), and just plain impressive.
All you have to do is be a relative of LemmingoftheGDA, live two houses down from him, and I bet he'll tweak this mod to your liking. I think you'd like that, because not only would he do that but he'd allow you to use is dual GTX liquid cooled super PC with twin super engineering monitors like I do.
Thank you very much for uploading your adjusted version of this mod! And uploading the rest of his work too!
It is still, IMHO, the best difficulty/combat mod out there! Makes the gameplay more challenging in a fun and realistic way. It makes you think.
And I have to say I agree with the couple tweaks, seeing enemies blow themselves up with fireballs was humorous but odd and the constant overwhelm, with a wolf pack for example, got annoying.
Thanks again! Next time you see Lemming, say 'hi' to him!

Can you please elaborate on what this does differently than old Smarter Enemies?
Cheers!
Fireballs now only at "long" range (unless enemy is fire resistant).
Overwhelm enemies no longer automatically overwhelm (as compared to the old "advanced" version).

I did as you asked and was commanded to send you kudos, update the description, and give virtual hugs.
So now two lovely ladies. Seems I still have much to learn from my uncle.
Tell him I send him virtual hugs too!
Yep. I do like you.
