The latest version (2.1) does not add any significant changes. I just repackaged everything for easier installation and included some required files that were missing from earlier installs. I also added LOD textures files for those that play on lower graphics settings.
If you are happy with your current install of v2.0, then downloading v2.1 is not necessary.
This mod is NOT compatible with Realistic Teeth. This is not because I don't want to make them compatible. It's because Elf Update and Realistic Teeth both edit the same meshes and cannot work together. Sorry!
"Elf Update" has 7 archives. Which one is the dependency? Whilst the mod is active some defaul hairstyles are not showing up on presets. I haven't checked how it affects NPCs, but don't have too much hope here. Installation instructions should be more specific. IDK how people made this work...
If there is a compatibility patch for Improved Atmosphere which is placed in the IA folder, wouldn't the files in the toolsetexport override the IA patch files? Should I override the toolsetexport files with the IA patch instead? Nvm I was too sleepy and didn't see that they are just the same files.
I just added this mod today and I absolutely love how the elves look. But during the Dalish Elf Origin, I went to find Merrill and she's not wearing the same clothes as from DA2. Instead she's wearing the underclothes from the Elf Update mod. How do I fix this?
EDIT:Nevermind, I got her to work. But I’m wondering about one detail from the Elf Update mod. Is it possible to remove the nude replacer so the male and female elves aren’t wearing the black and red clothes from the Blooming Rose in DA2?
Feels like I'm necro-posting, but how did you get it working? Been troubleshooting that problem for 2 days now and I just can't figure out where the problem is.
I'm having the exact same problem, I can't find what the issue is. I have Elves of Ferelden Reloaded, tucked hair, elf update, and Ferelden Elves itself in the toolsetexport folder. Encountering Merrill from a new game still resulted in her naked, so I've no idea what's conflicting.
this mod make any old elves become so young, its ruined the athmosphere when you talk to your elder that look way younger than yourself. elf in this game is supposed to be looks wild, poor or dirty like their social class/lore means, not with this this all baby faces around village,
Forgive me if this is an annoying questions but i cant seem to find a more detailed explanation anywhere and im not a master at modding so sorry but:How exactly is the Elf Update suppose to be downloaded? I just extracted it all put the files in one folder named "Elffix" and dropped it in the "Override" folder. All elves looked fine until got to the dalish camp (and meet Zevrian) and all the elves look one way from a distance but once i get close they dramatically change from both their faces to also their cloths! i think the Elf Updates where i went wrong but idk i also have this mod so maybe its this ....... help please? (I also did the same for the Female Dwarf and Female Human fixes but they dont seem to have a problem but still could be wrong or just not see it yet)
No answer yet and seems to be just the females for the arm thing but there is one or two males that have their appearance change when you get close so thats why i thought that i must have done both these wrong i havent been able to play since i made this post because i cant fix it
Is there a way to make your player character look like the elves here? I installed the mod and only the npc's have the new look. My character still uses the ugly vanilla look. Any help would be appreciated.
Third. I got the mod to work but my PC presets are the same. If there is a mod to add elf presets that are up to date with how elves look now that would be very helpful
I had that issue and what fixed it was unzipping all the folders inside the elf update folder because for some reason all the individual folders are still in the zip format
Installed the mod and its working on everyone but the my elf PC. Any suggestions on how to go about fixing? Have IA and Grey Wardens of Ferelden installed.
