myself and a friend just tried downloading this mod, I've used it before and thankfully put a backup in google drive, but it no longer unzips anymore. We've tried several ways but all fail. I had to send him my backup copy for him to use this mod

Hello, thanks for this mod but do I put the whole folder in Override or each loose file in there?

Could you now make a version for Loghain as well? As well as the other wardens in Awakeing?

+1. This is a great mod. Would be nice if someone could do it for Loghain for ultimate consistency.

EDIT: NVM I figured out how to do it. Pretty easy.

and would be nice to get a version for theodosian wardens although technically its not really necessary cuz their armor is so buffed... but, would be nice just the same.

Its pretty easy to do yourself if you want. If the original mod author will grant his permission, I can even make it for you.

For anyone looking to use Alistairs Oath together with Thedosian Wardens mod, Here is a short tutorial for how to do it in 10 simple steps.

Step 1. Download Thedosian Wardens of Ferelden Mod and install.
Step 2. Download Alistairs Oath and install.
Step 3. Download and install Dragon Age Toolkit from the Dragon age Keep (dragonagekeep.com).
Step 4. Locate the "gen00fl_alistair.utc" file, and open using the toolkit.
Step 5. Locate the Equip_ItemList line, between ItemList and VarTable. You should see six entries, starting with number 0, going all the way to 5.

Step 6. RIGHT click on Equip_ItemList, and a list will pop up. On that list you will see an option to "insert". Mouse over that, and you will have ONE option to select: STRUCTURE. Click that, and the new structure will be named 6, and be otherwise empty. Look to the right of where you see the word STRUCTURE, and there will be an empty value field. Make that value 11.

Step 7. Now RIGHT click on that new 6 line, mouse down to INSERT, mouse down that dropdown list of weird words until you see RESREF. Select that. You will see that the new RESREF is named "Field1". Rename "field1" to "TemplateResRef"

Step 8. Repeat the right click on line "6", but this time insert a BYTE. Do this twice. Name the first BYTE "Stealable" and the second BYTE "Droppable". Both bytes will have a value of 0 (in the value field).

Step 9. Now go back to RESREF, and in the "Value" field, paste "gen_im_acc_amu_war_a"

Step 10. Double check your work, save the file, and fire up a post ostagar save. Alistair should spawn with the Thedosian Warden armor, AND his own Warden's Oath.

ALTERNATIVELY, you can just open the  "gen00fl_alistair.utc" that you got from this mod's GWoF compatibility download, then open the  "gen00fl_alistair.utc" from Thedosian Grey wardens of Ferelden mod (Make sure they are open in the same Toolkit window). Then highlight line 6 from the GWoF utc, copy (CTRL + C), and paste it under Equip_ItemList of the Thedosian Wardens utc. Same result either way.

Raubaire, there are no such files in my mod labelled either gen_uti_acc_war.uti, alistait_oath.ncs or gen00fl_alistair.uts. If these are the actual file names you have then something is very wrong. I suggest deleting them and re-downloading my mod.

If the files you're referring to are actually gen_im_acc_amu_war_a.uti, alistairs_oath.ncs and gen00fl_alistair.utc then those are the correct file names. Please confirm that all three of these files are in your Dragon Age override directory (~\Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override\) and are the only files named such. danscott84's version changes the stats for the main character's version of the amulet only and has no effect on Alistair or this mod. Are you using the IWO version of my mod or the Vanilla?

I tested the files, both Vanilla and IWO, with and without the compatibility patches several times before uploading and a couple of times since. I've just downloaded and tested them again. They are definitely working. Please re-download the files, carefully follow the install instructions and let me know if the problem persists.

The file "alistait_oath.ncs" for the runscript commands doesnt work. When I valid the runscript the console writes sucess but nothing appear in the inventory.

I also try to load a savegame before Ostagar for Alistair wears his warden oath but nothing appear. The file "gen00fl_alistair.uts" isnt configure well ?

For the news stats "gen_uti_acc_war.uti" changes nothing... and later I took this one "Improved Warden Oath by danscott84" and it works for the stats.

I have only one mod activ => Alistairs Oath by Kuro_Neko.

Do you have share the right files ?

Yup it works quite beautifully--thank you! Also, very helpful documentation included with it, very handy for running alongside other mods that alter Alistair's inventory

You're very welcome Darkmanifest. And thanks for confirming it works. Even though it works for me, I've edited alot of files (many of them critical game files) to get various of the large number of mods I have to work together, so I was a bit worried it was only working for me because of that. Glad to hear different.

Love this. Works just fine for me (using the runscript), adds to immersion, and with the improved version, I can stop stop fretting over what new stolen necklace to give Alistair and stick with this for default. Thank you!
