Hello, thanks for posting this! I hope my below suggestion to folks trying to use this doesn't step on any toes; let me know if it does and I'll delete it. (I think? I've never tried to delete a post on nexus before, I'm assuming I can do it).
Possible suggestion for anyone using this who had trouble with extra mods showing up and isn't afraid of a tiny bit of editing: 1. First, I used Notepad++ to edit the xml files. It's free, it's relatively easy to use. Not sure if it's better or worse than the Microsoft program Zycon advised of, but it's the one I had handy. 2. Unpack and open up this mod's Addins.xml. If you "fold" up all the levels except for the first one (click "View" then "Fold All", then click the little plus sign next to <AddinsList>, you will see basically a list of all the addons. 3. A bit down the list, you will see "Advanced Quickbar" in the title. This is the beginning of what I'm assuming are items from Zycon's personal mod list. Delete all from that line down to the last bits of "Templar Armor Fix." This should eliminate all the mods that aren't yours. 4. Go to your own Addins.xml per the instructions in the mod description. Open it up, and for visibility do the "Fold All" thing again. Look down the list until you see the name of the first dazip mod you have installed. This begins your personal mod list. Copy all of that from this addins.xml and paste it into the downloaded one. Make sure you paste it in between the last item in the list but before the "</AddInsList>" at the very bottom. 5. After (of course) backing up your original Addins.xml file somewhere safe, paste this new one that you've squished your mod list into the Bioware/Settings folder.
Now, I assume this was relatively easy for me because I have all the official DLC and stuff, so if you don't have something, you may want to delete those lines from the top. Not sure what it will do to have those in there if you don't actually have the file, but that should get rid of the problem with seeing some mods show up in the list that you don't actually have. Essentially, you want a list of all the items for the base game, plus a version for Awakening (that's what "DAO_PRC_EP_1" means in the Addins list), then your installed dazip mods at the bottom. Just squint at it a bit and you should see what needs to be done. Good luck everyone!
I'm, sort of pissed. I followed the instructions, put the Addin thing in folder and it said replace, I did, and it removed all my mods. I re-downloaded them all, took me about an hour, but I think it affected Awakening. I can't see the names for the achievements, don't see some skills/talents, and some of my companions can't wear some outfits! If anyone is new or checking this out, please read the instructions carefully so you won't screw things up like me -_-...
Thank you for this mod.(warden Keep) Never again will I have to kill Sophia 100 times to get the warden shield! You will get my vote as soon as my time is up else where.
This file worked very well (was a little annoyed when I found out dlc items originally didn't transfer into Awakening... I mean come on...) other mods involving dlc items just sort of crashed my game haha but thank you for this mod I can finally have starfang in Awakening ^.^ will endorse once the time limit keeping me from doing so expires...
I tried this with Ultimate Edition and didn't have much luck. After copying the AddIns.xml, I used DAModder to remove/add the "Amulet of the War Mage" DLC, but I have duplicate DLC and add-ins that I don't have installed (e.g. Murder Alley).
Guys I've just added some pics of Shale in Awakening, though it is unstable for Shale to be a companion in Awakening, it is STILL a WIP Mod, it's not yet finished, it will be finished in about a month from now, I'm really busy atm.
Please leave any questions or concerns or problems you are experiencing with this mod pack, cuz if dont leave msg, I won't know what needs fixing and I can't help you unless information is shared. Thnx again for trying out this mod package.
EDIT: Apologies to all those who downloaded the Ver 1.0 Shale dlc inventory spawn files, it wasn't functioning fully, but it is now fixed, the new Ver 1.1 (V1.1 in optional) should spawn everything, I will upload some Pics shortly to approve authenticity of this file package, Quality is always #1 for me, again sorry for the inconvenience.
@Neovalen This file is guaranteed to work, and for anyone reading this post, my file works 100% of the time but there is a catch to the addins.xml files. catch: If you have any overrides mods such as hsli mage robes, hsli rev armor, anything from her, COMBINED with the siramods items scanner, COMBINED with ver 1.04 dragon age COLLECTORS EDITION, you will get the infamous "vase" bug happening in game everytime you search for items.(I know this is kinda irrelevant to my mod, but its a headache non-the-less)
HOW TO FIX: just temporarily remove the folders everytime you install item mods and are in need of a scann from sir A's mod.
not exaggerating or anything, but this mod works alot better than the boatloads of stuff out there, I've tried other mods that modify overrides, addins/core/.. this is the most straight forward method, and game items runs smoothly.
Soon I will also release a file that will allow HSLI Revenant Armor mod AND Ghost11's Warden Runic, AND Igyman's Garahel Armor all running smoothly together, as y'all know they are all conflicting item ID strings.
