   Speaking as someone whose install behaves strangely and crashes at chargen, I greatly appreciate early saves like this. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to explore other origins!

   Save games is for people creating mods, so that they could test that they created without playing through the game again and again.

   What is the point of these save files?
   
   So one can skip the character creation process?

   
   
   Basically. And also some people (myself included) have problems getting a good looking character in the CharGen.
