As of April 2025, this mod didn't work for me either. I don't have conflicting mods for this one, and I installed it correctly. Just FYI for everyone: remove your equipment BEFORE going into the mine to avoid the lost equipment bug altogether.
Installed via Vortex before entering the mines. Even restarted the game before entering. Still lost all items on Nat and my main character. Realised that I did not have a manual save....F...my life....
This is an unrelated question but. I've been having an issue ever since I've gotten a new pc where the screen will turn grey or black during cutscenes. Either a few objects will show up and sometimes the characters but then it will turn grey again. Do you have any idea what to do?
This mod worked perfectly! HOWEVER, Morrigan's ring still seemed to have been missing (if you still had it equipped). However, if you unequip before the whole getting rid of gear thing it it will be in the chest. So I guess it's all good.
This, plus for me the necklace Reflection also poofed, but like Morrigan's ring it ended up in the chest next to the vendor at the end. They say it happens with dlc items yet it didn't happen with the key to the city for me. Thanks for the info about the ring! I was going mental having to rerun this part (literally had to run the mine like 7 times before i finally had all my gear back) knowing it would prolly show up in the chest was a relief xD
The Mod does not work for me. Warden is in black background when captured and after the scene, only 2 experiments with gear spawn, moreover the chest near merchant is empty, therefore resulting in me and my companion gear lost forever.
At second try had to remove my gear + gear of the companion (Sigrun) in order to have all gear in final chest.
This mod does work. It attempts to find any items in your equipment that would have caused the bug and move them to the chest at the end. The only thing is, there are still a few items it misses. It's still very much worth installing this mod however, just to dramatically lower the chance of encountering the problem at all.
This doesn't work for me. After installing it, I actually had both my warden and Anders lose all their equipment... I hadn't seen the bug affect a companion before. My warden had some mod items, but Anders' equipment was all vanilla.
Just went through the Silverite Mines. Saved and removed the helmets beforehand (since I also use the no helmets mod) and it worked out fine.
To awaken next to The Architect had me laughing though. But talking straight to Seranni triggers the cutscene where you wake up in the cell.
Got most of the gear back from ghouls. Only Alistair's Rose Amulet, Alistair's Ring and the Cousland Signet Ring were missing. They are all CC though and I found them along with my other stuff in the chest next to the Qunari Merchant.
