Thanks man! I've wanted to play a Dalish Elf origin since like 2009, but I could never get over the fact that:
A. There are no female elves to romance.
And:
B. As a male elf I'm shorter than Leliana, which feels ridiculous and I can't take it seriously since I'm pretty tall in real life.
As a result, I always ended up playing as a human. Thanks to this I can finally have my ideal playthrough as an arrow-shooting Dalish elf with an elven mistress!
Edit: Also, if you can't install this using DAUpdater or if it doesn't work, then try a different browser. Some browsers don't recognize the .DAZIP file extension and download this as a regular .ZIP file, which breaks it.
i liked the premise of the mod but was disappointed that it seemed to override the hair and face mods for which in my opinion made her much more appealing then her in game appearance. could you speak with the mod creator of CGI Leliana Face Morph Sacred Ashes Trailer mod to make these two mods compatible?
The reason for this is that human face morphs cannot be applied to elf faces. You can, however, use any female elf facemorph you want, as long as you rename it to "ef_genfl_leliana".
This is an interesting mod, but does it alter any of her dialogue responses? Otherwise, some of them, especially while she's talking to an elf PC, will seem pretty odd, no?
Can't remember honestly, as it's been a long time since I've fully played through the game. Seemed like a good idea back when I made this mod though haha. I'll admit it was mostly for fun and the fact that you only get one elf companion.
Does this mod change and her race too or only facemorph and icon-preset?
It will change everything about her to an elf.
I've got another compatibility error. Trying to use the Leliana as an elf while using a human face replacer gives her a detached floating head.
Don't use the human face replacer.
I've tried using BOTH DAModder AND DAOModManager and neither of them install neither this mod nor morrigan the elf mods! they work with any other mod, but not these! Why?!
Not sure what your issue could be honestly. I, along with many others, have used both mod managers with no issues. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I can assure you that the fault is not with my mod.

Although, does this mod change the human icon to the elf icon, and other similar things? It's kinda minor, but it's important to me.

I have tried installing your mod with the daupdater (DAmodder isn't working for me ATM), and it keeps failing to install.
EDIT: So I got it to install, it's just not doing anything. Do I need to go back to a save from before any of Lothering? Might it be something on your end?

For those who have trouble with the mod, there's a conflicting file with the mod Improved Atmosphere. Search under 'companions', then 'gear changes', then 'leliana'. The file is called 'gen00fl_leliana.utc'. You have to delete it.
