It's been AGES since I played DAO and especially since I made this mod, but for all of you who are having trouble with getting the armor, may I suggest another mod? = https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1825
I do not know if this will help any of you but I hope it will. I do not have the files anymore, so sadly I can't work on it or change it in any way (I think) but whomever is still interested is more than welcome to send me a PM and I will do my very best to help where I can!
I'm wondering if anyone knows how to make this work with tmp7704's human female proportions fix? I love this armor, but the super wide shoulders and massive hands really take away from how good it looks.
Hi. I would like to fix this model. I can try to match seductress model from tmp7704. Moreover, I plan to create its LOD2 meshes and textures. But I need some time.
Sorry, having a bit of trouble, so I am hoping someone wouldn't mind helping me.
I tried to follow the installation instructions, yet my DAO Mod Manager doesn't recognise/pick up when I drag and drop the .dazip files. It just remains blank. So I made a new folder within my override folder and placed the original file, alongside the v1.1 update and the normal map .dds override file, within the same folder. Should this work sorry? Still not clear on how to get the armour without installing other mods, thank you and apologies if I'm just being dumb here. Thank you.
I had to use the 'add any item visual deluxe' mod to actually get it, but that's a minor issue. The armor looks great (especially since I made her look like her sacred ashes version) and appears to work. Thank you.
Is there a way to edit the items themselves, or better yet, to get these armor models into use in the toolset? For most other similar mods, once they're installed, I can use the base appearances to make my own custom items, but for this one, for some reason, it doesn't seem to work? Any tips?
I suppose it could be indeed though it'd be a last resort, because it seems insanely complicated, at least compared to just creating items in the Toolset. So I'm still going to hope, I think to see if there's a way to use it there...
As a followup to the previous post for anyone else who's try (or for me maybe in another however many years), I was able to get this to work by extracting the mod and moving the files from the Addins folder to the packages/core/override.
hi i'm new to useing dragon origins mods i downloaded this but it's not showing up in bodans shot and what do you mean by copy and paste addsacredashes.ncs this in the override fonder with note bad or what ?
The armor should turn up in Bodahn's inventory / store after you leave and return to camp. To elaborate: when you leave Lothering behind and you get a cutscene about a dream of the Archdemon and you end up in the party camp for the first time, you need to go back to Lothering -you don't run the risk of a random encounter- and return to camp; so this will be your second time at party camp. Now Bodahn should have the armor for sale. Since Bodahn's vanilla stock -unless you might have a mod installed to negate that- is available during both the 1st and second time at camp, you could (potentially) buy a lot of his items twice (provided you have some serious capital to make the purchases). So you might want to postpone leaving 1st camp and buy whatever you want or can before leaving and returning to make the SA armor appear in Bodahn's stock.
EDIT: the script to add the armor into your own inventory can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1742
I'm not sure whether and ADDITEM mod is required for that; comes in three flavours, I guess: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1131 https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/3708 https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1825
Okay, followed all the instructions, and I'm now to the following instruction:
?Copy "addsacredashes.ncs" file to your "<documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override\" folder Launch the game (daorigins.exe) "-enabledeveloperconsole" parameter to enable console. In game, bring up console and type "runscript addsacredashes" then press enter
I can't find the "addsacredashes.ncs" file anywhere in the downloads. This is causing the "ADD ANY ITEM VISUAL DELUXE" mod not to be able to see this mod at all.
Has anyone found that file? The mod instructions state how to use it, but don't say anywhere how to get it.
I found the answer to my own question. The script is an entirely separate mod and the location wasn't provided.
For those wanting to use this mod with Leliana's Song or Awakening, and have to use the ADD ANY ITEM VISUAL DELUXE to grab the items, you will need to download the "addsacredashes.ncs" file from: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1742?tab=description
You could add a helmet for the set bonus or just add a set bonus without it. I assume in a trailer or movie they wouldn't show the helmet of an archer so you can see who the character is but irl a helmet is always good.
Do you get CTD every single time you exit with this armor? And when not wearing this armor? The reason I ask is, because entering and exiting the Lothering Chantry is a bit a CTD lottery ticket; you win some, you lose some -I always save prior to entry or exit. However, it is now less prone to crashing than it was early after the release of the game.

Do I put the "sacredchest_n.dds" file in the Override folder ? Why isn't there and instruction on where to put it?
