To unlock warrior for Shale open console and type "runscript addtalent 4022" then enter it will give the 8 warrior slots 12 with awakening in OC not any weapon talents though.
Edit: However you must be controlling Shale when you addtalent.
I have added an update with file "passive_abilities_Shale.GDA" in it. Put that GDA in your My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override folder and Shale's passive abilities should now work. You can test them with following console commands when Shale is selected: runscript addtalent 80101 runscript addtalent 80102 runscript addtalent 80103 Sorry for them not working first time around!
Please is it possible if you could provide for us a 2gda file for shales talents? So that noobs like me can use GDAapp to change shales abilities such as their cooldown and cost and etc. If not please do let me know where i can get one because i have found custom ID for shales talents but i am confused where to get the string name number and other numbers which are unknown to me. Hope to hear from you soon.
So many talents, but why isn't any of them equivalent to Indominante? Shale from all warriors can't become immune for knockdowns, that's really annoying, especially, when I fight high dragon or archdemon.
Does not seem to work for me either, the talents appear and can be selected but they make no difference on the stat screen This is with and without the additional GDA in the override folder.
Just downloded. Wasn't clear on why there were 2 files and more confused when the second complains a file by the same name is already in the directory. I think a little clarification in an easily spotted place would be useful. Meanwhile I'll give it a try. Thanks.
Adding the resistance to knockback talent setiweb recommended somewhere in that tree sounds like a great addition. Seems silly to me to have a golem knocked off of his feet when a warrior with a shield can resist it.

Bioware's dlc encryption put so much limitations on how Shale could be modded. But it is understandable why did they done that.
Try putting the GDA in the override PLUS installing the dazip file in DAModder. Worked for me
