Excuse me, I know it's late but the instruction is a bit unclear to me. So I'm supposed to leave the patch folder in override, or just the .uts files in override? Thank you for replying.
Can someone help me, the description on the main page says that you have to install this mod BEFORE you enter an area, so does that mean that if I have already entered the Korcari Wilds, it's too late for me to install this mod to ge the Ornamental Sword drop upon killing Gazarath? Because I've followed the install instructions (dropped the unobtainable_item_fix folder into my override folder) and nothing happened.
I have, thanks, basically I ask the question about whether me entering the Wilds has made the mod not work for this one item because I wanna know if there's a chance that the mod is working and thus I can kinda relax and not worry about the future "bugged" item drops because the mod is doing its job (so basically I need to know if I couldn't collect the sword because I had already entered the Korcari Wilds), or whether I need to bear this in mind going forward and keep an eye out for missing drops.
Is there any chance you can fix the orzammar main quest rewards as well?
The way the quest is setup, if you get 5 and above score for either king, you get the less valuable reward while if you get 4 and below score for either king, you either get no reward as harrowmount is supposed to give endrin's mace, while bhelen gives you the more valuable reward Trian's maul.
Does this add in Endrin's mace anywhere by any chance?
No, the list of items 'fixed' in the mod description is comprehensive.
I've also done some work on adding unobtainable and cut items into the game, but I'm not familiar with the mace or the issue that makes it unobtainable... how would it have been available? (It's difficult to formulate a proper solution without that information.)
Um I could be wrong but I believe it was supposed to be the improved reward for siding with Harrowmont much as Trian's Maul is the better reward for siding with Bhelen (though oddly enough in this case I think the Aeducan Mace is the one rewarded at max support while Trian's Maul is the better item). In any case I think it was supposed to be a second possible reward for siding with Harrowmont but was never implemented. I have no real proof for this however beyond being a logical fit and providing desirable reward for siding with Harrowmont where before there was a sub par one and only one possibility versus Bhelen's two.
Late answer to nomad800: I think only the Greagoir's shield conflicts with this mod. So you just need to remove the respective .utc from the download file to make it compatible with the Templars of Ferelden.

The way it should work is :
Harrowmount :
5 and above score : Endrin's mace
4 and below score : Harrowmount staff
Bhelen :
5 and above score : Trian's maul
4 and below : Aeducan mace
Endrin's mace is currently not obtainable.
