I have a weird issue where blue eyes aren't showing up. The other colors work but the blues always come up as a light or dark grey. Anyone else have that issue? I'm lost.
My super wild guess is that you are utilizing the Dragon Age Redesigned mod (like everyone else on the planet that plays this game on PC). It might seem that what I'll tell you has nothing to do with your problem but bear with me. There's a folder in the Redesigned mod called "DAR for Dragon Age Toolset" and inside another one called "Tears of Sorrow". The last folder mentioned has some resources that Redesigned uses but it's really easy to miss in the installation instructions. Those resources are eye colour replacements that you might be missing. I know this is a different mod, but see if putting Tears of Sorrow in your override folder fixes anything. Cheers!
I love this mod however I seem to be having the black eye problem.:/ My graphics is set high, I have pineapple's eye textures but the problem still lives.
On my game it says I can change eye colors but when I move the bar thing the eye color doesn't change and the eyes are all black. Is there some way I could change that?
I'm currently using the Friendly file to combine the skintone/hair and eyes mods by chargen and pineapple, but is there a way to combine it with the More_Hairstyles_0_24 mod??
I've put the folder into the override file and I've still got the dark, unchanging eyes. I'm using no other CC mod currently. Any advice, or anyone else have this problem?
You can install this in both, the "my domcuments..." or the "program files..." override folder. It doesn't matter.
I'm not sure however, how the game behaves when you got the same files in both at the same time. So I'd recomend to choose one of these folders and install all addons there.
As for the eye colors: You may be happy to hear, that I see the problem of the "Dark..." colors not beeing destinct enough from their brighter counterparts and adressed that allready for the next version of my addon. When it comes to the individual colors however, I think it's pretty much a thing of individuall taste.
If your'e not happy with certain ones, you can allways delete their associated files form your addon folder and they will be back to normal while the rest stays "vibrant"
why do the browns have almost no brown in them? it seems that the browns and the dark blue are most closely true to what they are when looking at the original eye colors. dark blue should be much darker, light brown should be a light brown (much less yellowish), and the dark brown should probably be what it was originally, to be honest. the others look nice, but those three seem pretty off, imho.
edit 1: where do i install this? might sound newbie with that, but the issue is that ur install info gives [...] as the prior folder address when it could be either my documents/bioware/dragon age/ or the default game install directory, like program files/bioware/dragon age/ or whatever.

My graphics is set high, I have pineapple's eye textures but the problem still lives.
I just had that same issue and it was pissing me off
Mine changed when i put texture setting at high and graphic and high
im not sure which one fixed it, but i know its 1 of the 2
