What level would you recommend starting this mod? Like 15ish?

These bosses make the archdemon look like an imp.

i am trying to figure out how people were actually able to make it past the big open canyon (similiar to the high dragon boss fight area) without getting absoultely demolished by the 30 skeletons (able to kill them slowly) but the instant the commander skeleton and sometimes the dragon sitting right next to him come into the fight, they 2 shot my tanky 2h wearing massive armor, like i have no idea how you are actually supposed to fight him when he one shots the tankiest person on my team

Edit: i forgot to mention im literally playing this mod on easy difficulty and you are telling me some of yall are "having fun" on freakin nightmare diffuclty!?!

Could be better if there are any shop or merchant available on the map to buy some potions, items, or selling the drops so we able to save some inventory spaces. Also, the possiblity to change the party members at some location on the map

I'm currently using the enemy rescale mod from combat tweaks and this mod on my nightmare difficulty playthrough. Damn, the mobs are extremely tough now. Some bosses were able to 1 hit kill my party members. So challenging and unbalanced at the same time, but still I'm loving it. LOL

I'm sorry if I'm being too dense, but how do I leave the area after defeating Vulak?

The idea behind the mod is really good. Sadly there are a lot of bugs like the author stated. I did this yesterday with on nightmare with the simple difficulty increase and it was hard. I ran with Leliana, Zevran and Alister and my guy as a mage spirit healer. It took a couple of hours and would have been a lot easier if I went with Wynne instead of Zev. I use the increased level cap and all of my guys was like level 23 also.

Some things that have not been mentioned in the comment is that most bosses some more then others resist well over 70% of all spells. So what you have to do is basically perserv mana on your healer/healers and kill the bosses by using melee or staffs. Also some bosses could do like +300 damage in one second but then you have to account that the simple increase difficulty mod makes it so that the bosses do more damage.

All and all I like the idea of the mod, sadly I can't recommend this mod to anyone cause of the bugs and how you basically need to cheese some maps cause of the ridiculously amount of enemies in some locations.

This has various pros and cons. Here's a list

    Pros:
    1) It is doable. I managed to complete it on nightmare difficulty without the use of godly equipment or op skills. Keep in mind, however, that I have "Improved atmosphere" installed, as well as the "Divine school specialization", so I wasn't using only vanilla items/skills either.
    2) If you're a fan of Dark Souls... yeah, this is tough. Lots of Bosses will attack you at the same time, and you'll have to try a few things out and think a few things through. So, if you're looking for a challenge... this is it! If you haven't played DA:O more than a couple of times, and aren't extremely familiar with the combat system and the skill build... you won't make it.
    3) There are virtually no bugs. The all thing works beautifully: keep your video settings at the lowest, and it won't even crash.
    4) The rewards are nice, and pretty useful

    Cons:
    1) The maps aren't original. You're basically revisiting other parts of the game.
    2) There are no breaks: it's all in an extremely vast location. If you want to get out midway (if your inventory is full, or you're out of med pacs, for example) you'll have to walk quite a bit in order to get out. Which is extremely tedious.
    3) As I said, completing this quest requires a heavy use of tactics, and being able to switch companions in order to better adjust to the situation at hand would be extremely useful. Sadly, you can't: the all area is considered combat zone, and changes to your companion's lineup aren't allowed.
    4) There's no real plot behind it. There are no codex, strange findings, dialogues or scenes to somehow spice things up (like in the "Tombs of the Undead" expansion, which I strongly recommend). It's just a trial ground. So it's extremely easy to get pissed, given the difficulty of the quest.

Hope you find this useful. Overall, I had fun.

I completed it. Venom drips from every bit of this mod.
