just a question has anyone managed to get this to work on the game these days? because i can't get it to spawn in my inventory even if i keep the mod disabled before i start the game all the way up to getting to Ostagar the items still don't get added to my inventory once i enable the mod at Ostagar.
I'm a bit rusty on this, but a lot of these type of mods only work if you install them after getting to Ostagar. If you try it first then even if you delete/redo it, you won't get it with that game file.
Mod installation was quick and easy and it worked without problems, but I uninstalled it after a few minutes and can't really bring myself to endorse this mod. The design is appealing but the technical execution is very poor. The clothing is super low-poly, the UVs are bad, especially on the bra, the body textures have visible seams, etc etc. Was this extracted and converted from another even older game?
That typically means something was done incorrectly with the installation. You'll want to make sure you've installed both the Dazip file (using something like DA Modmanager) as well as putting the Chain of Orlais folder included in the mod into your Override folder.
Invisible body means you probably did one correctly but not the other. Hope that helps!
Hey, I just want say thank you for making this outfit. It look very nice and sexy . Endorsed I just start a new DAO playthrough while waiting for Andromeda to release
I downloaded this mod last night and made a new character. It appeared in my inventory with no problems. Then I made another new character and suddenly it's no longer appearing in my inventory. Is there maybe a console code or something that I can use to get the item again?
Others have had various issues whenever they've installed the mod prior to reaching Ostagar. There's a glitch with many of these older armour mods that they are hit or miss if installed prior to that point.
There may be a console code that could work but unfortunately I don't have the Toolset I used to make this anymore, and I don't remember what the file would have been called. If you're willing to experiment it was probably something like "runscript orlais" or "runscript chainorlais" or "runscript chain"...something along those lines.
Cant endorse this mods,i have tried many times over to install and just never shows up in my inventory,,and yes install after i got to osterguard and nothing, i uninstall ,,took out all files ,,of it, resintall, tried getting it thru console and console does not even recognize the set, Might have been nice,,but its a big no go.
Now if only I could find some boots and gloves to make this look perfect. I like using the Thane's Helmet with this. *sighs happily* It's like a little bit of Skyrim has made its' way into Dragon Age.
You're guess is right. Unfortunately there are a lot of mods (including this one) that only work if you don't install them until you get to Ostagar. Having them ready to go during the prologue breaks them for that play through. Boo!

Sorry I can't be of more help.
