I'm considering releasing one final update to MRP. This will be the last revision of MRP I ever release and all the source files will be released to the community upon completion.
I'm currently reviewing what needs to be done to make this happen and am asking for you guys to submit any Morrigan-related bugs that still exist as of MRP v1.1.0.
View the dedicated forum thread for more info
    ---

To install and patch the mod correctly to the latest version you need these three packages:

    -MRP_V110_DAZIP or MRP_V110_Manual
    -Additional_Epilogue_Fix_v3
    -Slidefixes_Bella_Kaitlyn

Users of the non-english versions of Dragon Age should install the following three packages, these will allow you to experience the new content in your own language:

    -MRP_V110__Localised
    -Additional_Epilogue_Fix_v3
    -Slidefixes_Bella_Kaitlyn_Localised

Note that the campfire texture fix is not included in any of the above packages, you should install that separately if you want to use it.

    Compatibility notes:

-If Morrigan is interrupting you in camp, it's due to a mod conflict.

-MRP and ZDF are fully compatible, any overlapping files are identical.

-The last time I checked, MRP worked fine alongside IRS:A without requiring any manual editing.

Any other questions regarding compatibilities will be ignored, it is your job as a mod user to investigate whether two mods are compatible via examining the files that they modify.

Can you tell me which version of the proposed file is better to use with Russian text and English voiceover? Russian Russian dubbing is not necessary for me, only Russian subtitles. Should I download a localized file or another one?

Hello, first of all, thank you very much for the wonderful mod!
I would like permission to translate it into Brazilian Portuguese, is that okay?
And I would like your help in finding out which file folder contains the lines.
    Thank you again!

Anyone know how to get the angry kiss / dark ritual kiss to work in Qwinn's Ultimate DAO Fixpack? If only there was a standalone mod for that:)

      Sorry, late reply!

You can use both Qwinn's Ultimate DAO Fixpack and Morrigan Restoration Patch together if you choose to install the 'manual' version of MRP instead of the dazip one.
Just make sure you don't have any conflicting files in your override folder.

      > Just make sure you don't have any conflicting files in your override folder.

Are there specific files we need to delete when using both? Which? And delete them from the override / standalone version or MRP and keep all the files from Fixpack?

There seem to be a lot of files touched by both. Do I need to delete ALL of these from the MRP? If so, wouldn't that gut most of MRP?

      arl110cr_kaitlyn.dlg
      cir200_greagoir.dlg
      clipt_morrigan_ritual.ncs
      cutscene_postcoronation.dlg
      cutscene_slideshow.dlg
      epi_loghain.dlg
      gen_im_gift_flmgrimoire_ng.uti - ??? maybe
      genpt_morrigan_defined.nss
      genpt_morrigan_events.nss
      genpt_morrigan_main.nss
      genpt_wynne_main.nss

      Hi, enderandrew!

When I said 'Just make sure you don't have any conflicting files in your override folder' I was talking about other mods that could contain conflicting files and not Qwinn's Fixpack. Sorry, I think I should have expressed it better.

Qwinn's Fixpack has conflicting files, they are not compatible with each other because they modify many of the same files. That's why if you use the dazip version of MRP, you will experience problems. But if you download the manual version of MRP and install it in your override folder, the tweaks and fixes made by MRP will take precedence over Qwinn's Fixpack. Of course you will lose the fixes made by Qwinn's mod to Morrigan. But MRP already adresses the bugs in Morrigan's dialog and restores the proper extended ending to Flemeth's Real Grimoire quest so you don't really need the fixes made to Morrigan by Qwinn's Fixpack with this mod installed.

The files and folders that you need to delete from the manual version of Morrigan Restoration Patch are the following:

      Morrigan_Denerim_Gate_Fix folder that contains "party_events.dlb" and "party_events.dlg"

      Morrigan_Loghain_Fixes folder which contains "epi_loghain.dlb", "epi_loghain.dlg", "genpt_loghain_events.ncs", "loghain_main.dlb", "loghain_main.dlg" and "plt_genpt_loghain_events.plo"

      Restored_Party_Banters folder that contains "party_ran_banter.dlg"

      Wynne_Connor_Fix folder that contains "genpt_wynne_main.ncs"

      ZDF_MRP_Shared folder that contains "clipt_morrigan_ritual.ncs", "epipt_main_zdf.ncs", "genpt_zevran_defined.ncs", "plt_epipt_main_zdf.plo", "plt_zdf_mrp_shared.plo", "zdf_mrp_shared.ncs"

All of these folders contain fixes that have already been adressed by Qwinn's Ultimate DAO Fixpack v3.5 and QUDAO Hotfix v3_52 (do not forget to install the hotfix) and you will not lose the tweaks and fixes made to Morrigan by MRP if you delete them.

If you have any doubts about what the files you are deleting do, don't hesitate to ask me.

Before I forget , MRP_V110_Manual does not contain"arl110cr_kaitlyn.dlg" in it's folders and you don't need to install any of the update files of MRP if you are using QUDAO.

@alpe16, thanks for the suggestion on files to delete, but what about files cir200_greagoir.dlg/.dlb located in Morrigan Dialogues? Qwinn fix pack restores the same cutscene, but also adds additional fixes to those files.

gino05 cir200_greagoir.dlg/.dlb I think refers to the restored content to turn Morrigan in as an apostate mage to Greagoir at Kinloch Hold so I assume it is safe to delete the MRP files in favour of Qwinn's fixpack.

For some reason, I'm unable to unzip your file. Windows is saying something about "support for solid RAR4 file is unavailable".

Literally the only mod I've ever downloaded that gave me that error and I've downloaded about 30+ DAO mods, 100+ DAI mods, 100+ DAV mods and thousands of Skyrim mods lol.

Don't use the explorer to open the archive, use either 7-Zip or Winrar.

When I download the mod file, I cannot unzip/extract it. I am getting an error message that says "Error 0x8096002A: No error description available." This is happening for both the .dazip and override installations. Are the mod files just corrupted now, or am I the only one having this issue? I am able to download and unzip/extract all other mods without problem.

Hi, again. If you use the 7 Zip installer app directly, then it'll unpack the file (or, it did for me, at least). Good luck!

Weird. I've been able to unzip .rar and .zip files without any issues until I find this one. No other file has given me this error when trying to extract. I wonder why I needed to download 7zip strictly for this one mod.

So is the part where Morrigan initiates dialogue every time I enter camp a feature or a bug?

Run the game once, as far as the character creator. It will spawn an empty override folder in the correct location.

Or, if you are confident of that correct location, it can be created manually without running the game first. (Not advised, but it can be done.) The default override would be  \Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override, but that may vary by operating system and whether cloud storage (OneDrive) is in use.
