Does anyone know if you HAVE to start a new game? I tried installing this toward the end of the game, but before I got to the end dragon. It didn't work. I haven't tried the dragon thralls override yet. That's next. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
For more info, I installed the folder here: Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override. It didn't work with the contents in the folder or taking the NCS and GDA files out of the folder.
Late, I know, but in case anyone else has that issue.
The Dragon Thralls file should work but comes with the downside that you can obtain the boots and gloves multiple times, since the enemies respawn. An alternative would be using the Awakening Fixes and Tweaks mod, which hides the items in the Wending Wood / Silverite Mine.
You don't even read Qwinn's description do you? How a mod that fix dialogues bug in Origins conflicted with a mod that add missing items in Awakening ???
Like everyone else here, I only read the mod description halfway and expected the items to drop from the Queen of the Blackmarsh. I did a few frownies when it didn't, came to check the page to troubleshoot, and realised I had it all wrong. When waiting for the High Dragon in the Wastes it worked perfectly, just like intended!
Thank you for the mod! Now I can finally wear this armour complete!
