About this image
In this image: Five more nugs for A Lost Nug and with Nug Replacer they look great!
So I am working on another Pet Peeves Fix Patch mod with various plot, script and custom fixes. This is meant to with with or without Qwinn's Fixpatch mod. Some fixes/restorations are same/similar or maybe slightly different but this mod also includes fixes that Qwinn didn't address as well as various retroactive fixes.
I have been testing with and without Qwinn's Fixpatch intermittently but there are a few can't be avoided conflicts but files will be marked on a list (so you can delete from my mod) for those who do use Qwinn's Fixpack. I didn't make it a priority for 100% compatibly for Qwinn's fix pack because for some Qwinn's fix pack which is about ¾ is dialogue fixes is too conflicting with other dialogue mods. Because of that splitting as much dialogue away from the script fixes as a Fix Patch alternative makes those who have other Dialogue mods and can't really have Qwinn's Fixpatch can still get a bunch of fixes.
I also skipped some what Qwinn considered fixes for content that could be considered creative liberties, over assumptions and not actual toolset dev notes. But one could say in some cases I may have done my own as well, but I really tried to keep it as what I think was intended or trying to keep game continuity.
I have cross referenced Qwinn's Fixpatch README file and reviewed scripts I have checked Qwinn's scripts to make sure we had similar fixes. At this time I have over 200 fixes. So I think I might do a run through before release. Also with mostly NCS/PLOT files and with minimal ARE/UTC/UTI/UTP/DLG/DLB files edited. This is for two reasons: one, every (unless otherwise indicated) fix should work either upon loading into the game or reloading the area. Second, for redress mods and pre-existing UTC/UTP fix files should be safe/fine. I even went out of my way to prevent duplicate drop and plot item fixes if more than 2 are in inventory.
Because Qwinn's mod used mostly direct file editing, I did as well but this could mean other mods may get conflicts. So I decided to provide the source files so if needed combability edits can be made if needed. Anyways I explained a lot more than I intended for this image teaser LOL.
TLDR:
- over 200 fixes/restorations, which includes;
- over 4,000 reward/codex XP restored
- over 21 gold rewards restored
- 22 unobtainable items can be obtained
