So I am working on another Pet Peeves Fix Patch mod with various plot, script and custom fixes. This is meant to with with or without Qwinn's Fixpatch mod. Some fixes are same/similar or maybe slightly different but this mod also includes fixes that Qwinn didn't address, as well as various retroactive fixes. At this time I have over 120 fixes.

The fixes for The Traitor's Crown (image example used: top left: unmodded if you intimidate guards just stand still,  top right: modded running away, bottom left: sleep poison and bottom right: drunk off dwarven ale), the following fixes:

150 XP and 10 Gold reward restored.

Restored that if the are guards drunk, unconscious, distracted, or if you or follower are stealthed with high ranking stealth—you can steal without the room going hostile. Note that if the guard is distracted he will still try to interrupt you a couple or few times with dialogue while you try to steal from the seneschal—unless stealthed which can be low rank.

First trigger can be bypassed if stealthed but can fail in not very high ranked in stealth. If you are low ranked in stealth and if failed twice the room goes hostile, however, if you buy a round of drinks the warning will be cleared to prevent the attack (both the guard warning and round of ale warning can be repeated). Now gold will be removed for certain conditions. Intimidation now causes the guards to run away and you can attack the seneschal on his own or let him run away after you you retrieve the crown.

Lying to give the seneschal a message, trying to sit at the back table and just keeping walking in the room all still results in the guards attacking, and very high level stealth and stealing still renders the pick successful (now can be follower), however, the following choices have been fixed/restored:

  • Drunk guards (cost 5 gold) + steal = Pick successful
  • Unconscious guard with poison + steal = Pick successful
  • Distracted guards with persuaded waitresses + steal = Pick successful
  • Distracted guards with paid waitresses (cost 3 gold) + steal = Pick successful
  • Sneak PC or Follower with very high ranking stealth + steal = Pick successful
  • Distracted guards  +  sneak PC or Follower with low ranking stealth + steal = Pick successful
  • Intimidate guards, guards run away, rob seneschal and let seneschal run away = Pick successful
  • Intimidate guards, guards run away, rob and then attack seneschal = Pick successful
  • Intimidate guards, guards run away, and attack seneschal + loot = Pick successful
  • Sneak with low ranking stealth + hitting first trigger x2 = Guards attack + loot = Pick successful
  • Sneak with low ranking stealth + hitting second trigger = Guards attack + loot = Pick successful
