With the Door Kickers 2 official launch, all efforts are being put into keeping the Steam Workshop version. This mod will keep receiving updates, but will be much more spaced and only for important changes.
Well since you're asking, I noticed a couple things that hold me back from using it further. :)
I don't know what the operator symbols stand for, so I'm having a hard time understanding what each squad member's intended role is. It would be cool if you coud add a description on the mod description page
Some have the breaching shotgun as big slot item, but it's not in the available selections. So if I choose something else, I'm stuck and cant go back to the shotgun. Maybe consider moving it to the "special" slot where you currently have the crowbar and steel cap shoes.
The spy cam seems an odd choice, do they actually use that?
Some names seem very odd, I can't imagine any operator would be called Elefant or Flusspferd in the field, it sounds a bit silly. I'd recommend to stick with the common German surnames: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_the_most_common_surnames_in_Germany
The G36A2 and A3 are missing descriptions
The machinegunners character model is broken, he's invisible and his gear is twisted a few meters away
I got early alpha vibes from the whole thing, so guess I'll give it a few months before I give it another shot. Looks very promising though, so I hope you keep working on it! :)
First of all, thanks for the kind words :) But, as cool as it might be, I'm not familiar enough with the German army, nor know German as to make a real in depth research and even if I did, don't have the time and forces to.
If you really want a KSK mod, you can get access to one in the official Door Kickers Discord server.
Great Mod, im enjoying it. And the voicelines are also good, something rarely seen with most mods. I was really caught of guard when a soldier told me "Dumm rumstehen hab ich nicht trainiert boss".
I almost choke because of your comment lol. I'm glad you're enjoying the mod, considering that it's mostly a side project and byproduct of Task Force Toro. But that kind of things like the voices, is what I'm trying to do to give them their own personality separated from my other mod :) sadly it is hard to find german dubbing, and even harder process it when you don't speak a word of the language, hahaha
I completely forgot to update this mod, lol, sorry for the late answer. It is a known problem and has been fixed for more than a month but I forgot to upload the file, will do in the next few days, thanks for the report!
Haha, glad you're liking it, sadly, the MG3 has long been replaced by the MG5, but who knows, maybe in a later update it could reappear :) If you are really itching for it, you can find it in my other mod, Task Force Toro!
How about separate them ? Like Machine gunners have their own window assulter their own. Yeah they have a badge but it not so intuitive and comfortably. And yeah they have only vest and helmet. And i can't use camouflage selector, in this case my vanilla squads lost their bodies.
To your first question, no. It would mean to literally remake the whole mod, and I don't have the time to work on it more than I've already done. The squad is prepared to be sorted out automatically, so you don't even have to worry about who you deploy, you will automatically deploy a 2x riflemen, 1 machine gunner and 1 grenadier, the rest will be keep following the order. set in the window.
And about the camo selector, you need to select the camo (incredible, huh?) on the units, it's a mod designed for vanilla units, so, works for rangers, cia and swat.
This is the only solution I can give you at this moment, I'm sorry. The other would be to delete the squad, create a new one and check if it works or not. I have tested the whole mod on my end both with and with out the camo selector and it works fine, I could not replicate the bug of bodies disappearing.
No files were modified. All character models have disappeared,After deleting other mod, the problem is not solved. The above issues are solved by the in-game camo selection mod.
It is strange, I tested on my end with out any mod but this, and worked fine, I'll try later to upload a new version, so you can play without needing to use the camo selector (although that will lock all characters using the Flecktarn), but it is really likely you will need to delete your squad for it to work.
The problem remained, and I made some changesthe following changes?will"RenderObject3D model ="data/models/humans/cubeboi KNM"inside "cubeboi. KHM" into "ranger assaulter. knm"So the character model is displayed.I can only use the mod normally by modifying some codes in the file.
Yes, it will make the mod work correctly, but, you will break the compatibility with the camo selector; up to you, just remember if you make the change, that the short sleeve uses the ranger assaulter, and the long sleeve the grenadier.

Noted that I have to correct that for future updates tho.

Have you modified any file of the mod? Are you using other mods?
If it's them all, install the In-game camo selector mod, it will solve your problem for the time being
