Hey since there is a proper mod manager on discord now, you think you can split each demon into their own download? The marauder and aracnotron look great.
perfect mod can't play the game without it the most think i like it is marauder i have added oni marauder to it (removed the head and eye from it) and now it look cool if u don't mind can i post the marauder with oni mod for sure u will get the credit for body parts i won't post it of course if you don't want to because im not thief
this mod is great, but idk if its my graphics settings but demon eyes dont seem to glow at all or at least not as much as the preview images, also is there any chance you could make the glowing pipes on the tyrants red instead of orange as a homage to the original cyberdemon? cuz im currently only using the mod for the imps and tyrants
Can you do a tutorial on how to install texture mods? I cannot install mods (I patched everything, installed everything, etc.) And my game does not start, but immediately starts downloading the game again. I do not know what it is connected with
0. Make sure your Eternal Mod Injector is up to date. The latest version is available here, with installation instructions of its own.
1. Remove all mods from the Mods folder.
2. Repair your installation. If you're using the Bethesda.net launcher, you would do this by clicking the "Scan and Repair" button under "Game Options," and if you're on Steam, you would do this by clicking "Verify Integrity of Game Cache." The launcher will usually say that it needs to download the entire game over again, but don't panic: in fact, it normally only downloads 3 to 5 gigabytes.
3. Open EternalModInjector.dat (not .bat) in any text editor and change the line RESET_BACKUPS=0 so it says RESET_BACKUPS=1. Save the file.*
4. Run EternalModInjector.bat. This will reset the backups of the game resource archives to reflect the base game; it's now as if you reinstalled the game.
5. Download EternalPatchManifest from the blue mega.nz link (not the one on the bottom of the post, which is broken) on this Discord page. This utility is required for any mods that change textures. If you try to run texture mods without it, your game will crash, your resource files will become corrupted, and you will need to start over.
6. Place EternalPatchManifest.exe in the "base" folder and run it once. It should generate a file called build_manifest.bin.bck.
7. Return your mods to your Mods folder.
8. Run EternalModInjector.bat one more time.
Your mods should now be fully functional, if none of them conflict with each other or the current update. If the game updates or you ever have to repair your installation again, you will need to run EternalPatchManifest again, or else the same problems will re-occur. You do not need to re-run EternalPatchManifest just to install new texture mods.
*After you run EternalModInjector.bat, you do not need to change this line back. EternalModInjector.bat will do it automatically.
This mod is now just about perfect, even though I miss the uglier skin tone for the zombies a little bit. Now, however, a neat balance has been struck, making Eternal's monsters appear more intimidating, dark and demonic while basically preserving their original color scheme and design (I appreciate the return of the pupils for the Pain Elemental and Cacodemon). This makes Doom Eternal feel much more like a true continuation of Doom 2016's style, rather than the drastic shift in art direction that the vanilla game is. Well done! I only hope now that a future update does not break the mod--fingers crossed!
P.S. The new photo-mode pictures you took for this page are also impressively well-composed, and represent your mod in intent and effect brilliantly.
