About this mod

This mod will change the way the campaign works by removing the hub completely. All unskippable camera sequences are also removed by this mod (i.e: gate opening sequence in HOE).

The intro cutscene is also removed, but an alternate version is available for download that doesn't remove the intro cutscene.

No Hub, No Cameras, No Intro (v1.0)

This mod will change the way the campaign works by removing the hub completely. All unskippable camera sequences are also removed by this mod (i.e: gate opening sequence in HOE). The intro cutscene is also removed, but an alternate version is available for download that doesn't remove the intro cutscene.

As the hub is removed, instead of going to it after each map, the player will advance to the next campaign level directly. The game can be 100%'ed anyway, since a few upgrades are given at the start of some maps the same way you would get them in the hub:

  • Ammo, health and armor are refilled at the beginning of each level you would transition to from the hub.
  • A Sentinel Crystal has been placed at the start of Exultia.
  • The Flame Belch is given at the start of Exultia (and its codex entry)
  • Arc Broadcast Log I codex entry is given at the start of Exultia.
  • The Ice Bomb is given at the start of Cultist Base (and its codex entry)
  • A Praetor Token has been placed at the start of Cultist Base.
  • Two Sentinel Crystals have been placed at the start of Super Gore Nest.
  • A mod bot has been placed at the start of Super Gore Nest.
  • The Ballista is given at the start of Super Gore Nest (and its codex entry)
  • Arc Broadcast Log II codex entry is given at the start of Super Gore Nest.
  • Arc Broadcast Log III codex entry is given at the start of Arc Complex.
  • A mod bot has been placed at the start of Arc Complex.
  • Arc Broadcast Log IV codex entry is given at the start of Mars Core.
  • Arc Broadcast Log V codex entry is given at the start of Taras Nabad.
  • The Unmaykr (and its codex entry) will be given at the start of Nekravol if all the Slayer Gates were completed.
  • The mod bots and sentinel crystals in the hub will appear as if they had been already used.

You will only return to the hub after finishing the campaign.

IMPORTANT: This mod IS NOT compatible with any other mod that modifies entities in a map (such as Horde Mode)
