The mod makes some colors looks nicer.
But overall it eats too many FPS, it goes down from 143fps  to near 90 fps.
You can turn OFF some effects to get back close to 143fps.
But also the brightness of explosion and other effects makes it hard to play, maybe after several minutes of play eyes can get used to it.

Here is gameplay and which effects causes too mutch FPS drops:

      Hey Naimadpl
      Thank for your feedback.
Feel free to deactivate some effects to gain FPS.
      Have a nice day !

Unclear on the instructions. Can you link or make a visual tutorial? I'm not very good at following written/typed instructions.

Would be really cool if I could actually get it to work
Too little instructions, unlike Carmack's instructions

      Hey VladMD,
i'll try to give you better explanation about installation (i give you different pathway, depending what you already done in reshade installation)

      Pathway 1 :
      1) Download reshade 4.9.1
      2) Double click on it
      3) Click on "Enable/Disable Reshade in Vulkan globally (affects all Vulkan games)"
      4) then tick "Enable Reshade in Vulkan globally (affects all Vulkan games)
      5) Download my reshade pack
      6) Extract it, in your main game directory where you have your Doometernal.exe
      7) Finish reshade installation in-game and choose my preset

if it doesnt work, try this other pathway
      Pathway 2 :
      1) Download reshade 4.9.1
      2) Choose your Doometernal.exe
      3) select Vulkan and install all packages
      4) Close Reshade.exe
      5) ReOpen reshade.exe
      6) Click on "Enable/Disable Reshade in Vulkan globally (affects all Vulkan games)"
      7) then tick "Enable Reshade in Vulkan globally (affects all Vulkan games)
      8) Download my reshade pack
      9) Extract it, in your main game directory where you have your Doometernal.exe
      10) Finish Reshade installation in-game and choose my preset

if it doesnt work, try other pathway :
      pathway 3 :
      1) Download reshade 4.9.1
      2) Double click on it
      3) Click on "Enable/Disable Reshade in Vulkan globally (affects all Vulkan games)"
      4) then tick "Enable Reshade in Vulkan globally (affects all Vulkan games)
      5) Download my reshade pack
      6) Extract it, in C:\ProgramData\ReShade (becareful, must be hidden => go in windows folder options and "show hidden files, folders and drives" ticked)
      10) Finish Reshade installation in-game and choose my preset

Hope that will be good for you !

The issue I'm running into is, though the ReShade is installed properly, upon selecting your preset, nothing happens, no changes, no settings

What pathway did you test ? All of them ?
when you select a settings like border.fx, have you got an effect on game ?

I installed it just like advised, but when I select the preset there are no visual changes, and neither any settings to go along with it
I don't know what's happening or what is causing this to happen. Does the DeLighter have anything to do with this?
Just to mention, every other ReShade I've installed has worked perfectly fine for me

ok, got problem with Vulkan Reshade installation :s
      Try this !

      Uninstall Reshade from doometernal.exe
      1) Install Reshade in Doometernal using Vulkan
      2) Select all packages during installation
      3) Close reshade.exe
      4) ReOpen Reshade.exe
      5) Select "Enable/Disable Reshade in Vulkan globally (affects all Vulkan games)
      6)  then tick "Enable Reshade in Vulkan globally (affects all Vulkan games)
      7) Click Yes when you got advertising message
      8) In your Game directory where you got Doometernal.exe, you have to got reshade-shaders folder
      9) Download and unpack my .rar in your game directory where you have Doometernal.exe
      10) It ask to replace, say OK for all files
      11) Launch the game, finish installation
      12) select my preset

Try this, and let me know if it works.

      1) Does the DeLighter have anything to do with this? "don't know what it is"
2)when you said "Just to mention, every other ReShade I've installed has worked perfectly fine for me" on other Game or specifically on Doometernal ? Because is not a classic way on Doometernal !

Edit : did you try to use Carmak's installation ?

My God, that's not what I was saying, I have ReShade Setup 4.9.1 perfectly set up
Carmack's ReShade, as well as the Simple Realistic ReShade worked prefectly fine, but not this one
When extracting the .zip Archive into the Game Directory, it literally just doesn't work at all
