I thought sum'n was up I hadn't played since launch and I remember marauders and arachnotrons being the bane of my existence however since Tag 2 I started playing again and marauders and arachnotrons were pushover's they definitely were nerfed since I had no time to "git gud" and I hadn't played since launch
yo I'm dumb, this is my first doom eternal mod. Can someone please spoonfeed me how to do eternal mods? I'll look up a mod manager I guess. Also for the modder, any chance of reverting all changes? Enemy damage, health and aggression was nerfed across the board, as well as projectile movement speed. Would love it back the way it was for everyone.
You need something called ModInjector, you can get grab on it Doom 2016+ Modding discord. You drag and drop its contents into Doom Eternal directory (it comes with an empty mods folder if you haven't made one already). Then inside your mods folder put all the mods you want. Finally you run the batch file (ModInjector) and let it do it's thing. By default it automatically launches the game after installing mods but you can change that.
It used to be a bit more involved with some manual patching, but now the batch file does it all for you.
Other modders are also creating stuff with the intention to revert all the changes from ag2. A friend of mine called nebby has posted something like this on my server that i advertise everywhere lol.

Basically they made it a clown, may as well have made it polka dot too.
Also, the eye-turrets and archvile appear to have gotten similar treatment by ID..
