Hey. Probably better use the Mod Portal version because this one here doesn't work for everybody for some reason. To install it manually, move the unpacked folder (doom-mod-yadayadanumbers) into your activemods folder in the DoomEternal folder and run it from Doom's Sandbox the same way your would play other ModPortal mods. This mod isn't designed with the injector in mind while the injector cannot inject custom maps. Then in the game console type-in "devmap kok" without the quotes for this Nexus version.
Sorry for the late response. I don't check this page anymore. devmap kok is all you need to type in the console to run it. But for some reason it doesn't work for some people. Does for me and some other people. Alternatively use the official Mod Portal version of it that works flawlessly for everybody.
Hey, I played this map on the mod portal and I gotta say it is really good (Admittedly I was expecting to get flashbanged by porn, but thankfully it's in a tasteful spot). I was the guy who made the N64 Kokiri Forest map, and I'm looking to make my own 3DS Kokiri Forest map. Would you be able to tell me how you got this exported into Doom Eternal? The beginning encounters were good until the Possessed Demon spam. I also think the Meathook Grapple Points are a bit too high - they can be hard to hook onto during chaotic fights. The devmap command did not work on this version, but it worked fine on the Mod Portal.
I will fix all that and I totally agree with the concerns. Thank you for the feedback. The map is a shitpost so I'm surprised anyone has played it at all. That's why I didn't wanna give it any more time to refine the encounters but since people are playing it I will make it more fun and enjoyable. P.S. why is the devmap command not working is beyond me, because I deleted the mod in my activemods folder, downloaded from here and put it there back, it was working. It's really bad because ModPortal is bugged and my friend can't download it there and I told him to get the mod from here. Jesus... Upd. Yep I tested it again, it's all working on my end. devmap kok I will upload the devmap kokiri version later. Or when I'm done updating it. Upd. Silly question just to make sure.
