try deactivating all other mods and don't have all 4 active at once, you should start with a full loadout on all 4 mods individually unless you're not on the Mod Portal for some reason, if it still won't work I can't help
you're supposed to go straight to Exultia skipping the fortress, make sure this is your only mod and you're starting from a new save, otherwise I got no clue
ahh it was the randomizer causing it, i didnt check at first because it was working fine with the previous release of the randomizer a few months ago ago
just install the Master Marathon, it's literally the first level. Unless you want to play other Master Levels after HoE, just delete all other levels from the zip, all that should remain is e1m1_intro_patch3 and gameresources
