The mod may appear as a false positive on some user machines, you can check however that the mod has been set as Safe to use by Nexus on the top right of the screen.
Will you be making a mod like this for The Dark Ages? I assume they'll probably be similarly moddable and if they are I hope you'll do the same for that game, especially weapon FOV options and interaction/glory strike FOV
Can you make a variation of this mod that doesn't change pm_sprintspeed all the time? I can't use that console command because this mod keeps changing it back to its default.
Also letting us see the ice bomb as well as the normal grenade on the hud at the same time is appreciated, but it doesn't work with 3D Hud enabled. Can that be fixed? Thanks.
I might try to add a transparent color option for the custom hud in the future. For the 3D hud though, it's not possible as it was very hard to make it work in the first place, the only thing i was able to add in the custom hud is that the arrow at the right side of the hud will be blu when the ice nade is read and grey otherwise on the 3d hud.
I'd really like to be able to do more with the hud outline strength. I don't like that it's a drop shadow but only on the left. I'd like to be able to center it or get rid of it completely, it just makes the custom hud look slightly weird.
Hello, I don't understand what is happening but for some reason when I load in it cuts off my hands and I can see trough walls... I returns back to normal only after going back to the main menu or a cutscene playing, I only started happening when I downloaded the mod
What version of the mod are you using? Do you have 3D hud enabled? EDIT: i was able to reproduce the issue. I just released a new version DE_AdvancedOptionsMod_Vanilla_3.31, let me know if it fixes the issue for you.
I'm still having this bug, only when the 3d hud is active (the hands disappear and I can see the things around me) I get this bug when inserting the first key (the yellow one) in the Super gore nest level. Great mod tho, I love this and appreciate the time you spent doing this mod and fixing it :D
Thank you very much, man; I have not experienced any problem at the moment. Appreciate you still being active and still reading the comments. Thanks, wish you all the best :D
Actual godsend of a mod, centralises the mods I already use (smaller crosshair, higher viewmodel fov) into one thing AND has 3d hud, seperate nade keybinds ETC.. been playing Eternal since launch and never knew this existed lmao. changed my life this
Is it possible we could save configs from Custom HUD settings?
Is it possible we could get weapon mod information in the Custom HUD settings?
The older version of this mod used a Dot crosshair in the custom crosshair section - the new one is noticeably square. This is relatively, personally undesirable - How can we change or fix this, or would you be able to?
Well, what you could do is configure the custom hud the way you want, and then copy the DE_ModMainSettings.json somewhere on your pc, create a new hud config and save the file also somewhere, that way you can test different versions. But i'm not going to add profiles to the mod cause that would be too much rewrite. The mod is mainly aimed at people who have played the game at least once, so this is why i didn't add the current mod information on the hud because it's quite obvious from looking at the weapon. About the dot it's true i went with a square cause it's more noticeable and efficient for computations. But i guess i could add an option for a round crosshair at some point.
I appreciate your reply, and will try to use the DE_ModMainSettings.json - Where could I find this? My apologies - I was downpatched for quite some time and am not familiar with the folder/file hierarchy and their locations.
"But i'm not going to add profiles to the mod cause that would be too much rewrite." Thats fair.
"The mod is mainly aimed at people who have played the game at least once, so this is why i didn't add the current mod information on the hud because it's quite obvious from looking at the weapon" While this is certainly true, I do a lot of SMS, wherein changing mods mid cycle without animations becomes harder to tell for some weapons, like Rocket Launcher when silently swapping between RD and LO. Granted, there is a *feel* to when it works right, and have been doing it for years, I think the extra visual information from the HUD would be quite nice.
Also, side note - Not all hud elements are on the same X and Y axis which makes aligning some things slightly odd.
In regards to the custom HUD settings - Is it possible you could add a "+" cross through the vertical and horizontal middles of the screen? Just to aid with placements and the like.

I may add an extra option for default sprint speed in the future.
Enjoy!

Also are you sure you downloaded the latest version of the mod

I'm a bit busy atm so it might be some time before new features are added but i'll keep those suggestions in mind.
Appreciate your time and the mod. Its great!
