   the amount of stuff necessary to use mods on the OG Doom 3 is staggering. exactly how do i download Dhewm3? cause it just gave me info i had no way of understanding

      Hello, You go to:
      
      https://github.com/dhewm/dhewm3/releases/
      
      Then scroll down an in a section called "Assets" is a list of downlaod options. For example if you are on Windows, you want:
      
      dhewm3-1.5.4_win32.zip

   Does this mod not work anymore? or do I need to find the weapon flashlights as well?

      It should work just fine, providing you are using it with "D3HDP - DooM 3 Essential HD Pack"
      
      If you still have issues, let me know, I may have to adjust some thins as I see D3HDP was updated yesterday.

      I just tested the mod using Dhewm 3. It should work just fine, even works without D3HDP.
      
      Were you running with Dhewm 3?
