By using a mix of the explosive barrel's gibbing behaviour and the Super Shotgun's vanilla gibbing behaviour, I was able to give the Super Shotgun more exaggerated gibbing behaviour, approximate to the gibbing behaviour seen in pre-release footage (reference).
Thanks to Elder_Moloch for the suggestion to use the explosive barrel gib behaviour and Jun for the mod idea in the first place (both from the DOOM 2016+ Modding Discord).
