I think it's that the shockwave effect needs to hit Vergil so the doppelganger stops blocking his attacks, but I don't think there's a way to make an exception for mission 20 to change the shockwave value back to it's original one
Just a heads up to everyone mission 20 is totally beatable with this mod there are 2 ways. 1:use super dante(this way is boring)for some reason super Dante does chip damage which bypasses the doppelganger parry. 2:(this way is fun)so first you are gonna need at least a quarter of you DT bar filled,once you get to the end when the doppelganger parries all your attacks use your DT but "DO NOT" attack Vergil.wait for the doppelganger to attack you,dodge its attack and land any attack on it that launches it airborne like "high time" the doppelganger will then stay airborne until you DT bar depletes giving you time to attack Vergil.
