Using a backup, please revert to the original Dante_Archetypes_SF.upk. The original version of this mod is outdated and uses a method for modding the game that is no longer needed for these changes. Stacking the original mod's UPK may have unintended effects when used in conjunction with TFC mods.


What does this mod do?

This mod rebalances a majority of Devil Trigger's to match how it was changed in Definitive Edition. The file for DT was ripped straight from DE and is being used here in Vanilla DmC to create the most accurate experience possible. Please note that this does not immediately change the game's balance to be exactly like DE. Enemy health, damage output, attack frequency, resistance to your attacks, time spent blocking and enemy composition are all equally important aspects of the game's balance which this mod does not alter.

HARDCORE MODE DT

The hardcore version completely disables the launch caused by Devil Trigger and will not allow you to break through enemy armor like the
vanilla DT usually does. This means no easy launches on heavy-class enemies such as the Tank or Buzzsaw and you'll have to follow the game's standard rules for displacing enemies. Despite this, I have kept the unique property on Stomp that knocks enemies down.

- DrainRate_InitialCost decreased from 150 to 142
- HealthRegenPerSecond_Ground increased from 35 to 58
- HealthRegenPerSecond_Aerial increased from 35 to 58
- DefaultDamageTypeEarnedPointsScale increased from 0.1667 to 0.28339
- DamageTypeEarnedPointsScale[0] for DVDmgType_AngelYashichi (Aquilla-based damage) increased from 0.0333 to 0.0561
- CausesTriggerReaction set to False
This is incompatible with the Vergil fight and makes it unbeatable


OPTIONAL STANDARD MODE DT

The optional Standard DT changes do not include the feature that disables the launch. If you plan to fight Vergil, this version is mandatory.
