this mod is amazing! I wish I could make some of the prerendered cutscenes use this look... better yet if NT would have stuck to their original design I think this game could have been better received (artistically)
I think the choice to use a newly designed Dante was a good choice. And that the design that was used was perfect. Would rather not have my mods be used to speak negatively on things when I loved it.
All I wish for is that there were more prerendered cutscenes that used the other outfits.
Hey I'm happy you enjoyed the look of the game as it was shipped. I enjoyed the game too. I'm really a devil may cry fan because of it. I just think somewhere along the line from concept to delivery NT let the art style get watered down and it felt like they lost some of the vision. Some of that probably happened in response to early feedback received from fans. Anyways, great mod.
Are the main files correct? I downloaded the main files and all I got are 2 files with no extension. I triple checked and I downloaded the main files and not any other optional file from the mod.
That's really weird... I no longer have these files, but can you try to add the file extension .tpf to the main files? If that doesn't work, I may just recreate this.
The color balancing of the red feels WAY OFF, like it was made to look red in the very desaturated Human World. In mission 4 (generally where I choose to test mods because it uses the vast majority of color and lighting tricks the game uses), the reds on this outfit are downright flourescent (to say nothing of Mission 1 which was already about the reddest thing ever crafted by the hands of man).
The actual outfit looks very nice, but dialing the reds down to about where they are on your OG Dante Inspired Outfit would make this look a LOT better in the Limbo stages where the game tends to live.
Yeah, I getcha. This was one of my first mods, so it doesn't look the best. That being said, I added additional options -- including a darker jacket that I think looks a lot better overall. Though if you asked me which one I would recommend, it'd be my "Updated Jacket" addon. To use these together, put the updated jacket mod ABOVE the Concept Art mod in your Texmod. This will give the jacket priority over the concept arts jacket, and will make the jacket look a lot better.

All DmC mods require TexMod. Install it, set the game path and select the .tpf file (the mod). Simply run the game through TexMod and bam.
