Cool indead but I always experience some annoying frame drops while using texmod. Never tried using texmod in other games so I can't tell if that's DmC specific. I have a decent pc with i5-9400, 16gb ram and 1070Ti. Any idea what may cause the issue?
I had no idea. That makes a lot of sense. I thought it was just poorly optimized for Radeon graphic cards, but I guess it's actually Texmod.
Texmod itself is probably the issue. Development of texmod never continued after 0.9b, so it never received proper optimization. I guess unless there's some sort of alternative to texmod, we're kind of stuck with a choppy framerate.
