All of these mods reduce vitality scaling. Technically, all these mods do is change the scaling of vitality, and the game automatically calculates the appropriate values for armor and damage from that, so relative balance of vanilla should be maintained. This mod is handy for reducing the need to constantly hunt for gear to re-equip after leveling up, since items should last 3+ levels, depending on the version you select.
WARNING: These mods work fine on existing saves, but if you want to remove them, enemy health won't recover to vanilla values. I HIGHLY recommend you start with the Reduced Vitality Bloat, and then move down to Minimal Vitality Scaling if those numbers are still too big. Moving from Minimal to Reduced Vitality will result in enemies with lost vitality.
For reference, default scaling is 25% exponential growth, with four separate additional 1.25x points in the game where there are huge jumps in vitality growth, leading to vitality in the 10s of thousands. This makes constant gear-hunting necessary, and level differences between enemies make fights very difficult or utterly trivial.
Three Versions
Reduced Number Bloat: Massively reduces numbers, down to about 1000 base vitality at level 20 (9 + 12% vitality per level)
Minimal Vitality Scaling: Even more massive reduction numbers, granting 4 + 4% vitality per level, leading to around a few hundred vitality by level 20.
No Scaling: Vitality increases by nothing on level up. It also virtually eliminates the penalty for equipping high level weapons. It definitely makes for a very different experience, where level difference is mostly a non-factor, which is pretty interesting.
Install: Place in Documents/Larian Studios/Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition/Mods. Activate in Mod Menu.
