This is wonderful! Pairs well with Instant Trader Refresh. Finally, I can try out some of those early game armors I missed. Thanks for putting the time in to make this.
Does this mod works the other way? changing the visuals of lower level equiment to higher level armor equipment. I know this mod doesn't change stats (and that's a relief)
I added this mod and started a new game.. and... in the weapons chest right after Windego blows up, at the start of the game, the chest contained a normal-stats, normal-type Air Wand with the name (and visual) of Radeka's Thorn, as well as a normal dagger with the name and visual of Abstinence.
So..... does this mod do more than intended? Does it let all loot have all visuals/names?
I just opened up the mod to see the exact changes it makes, and from how it LOOKS, it doesn't seem like it would have the effect I'm describing. The effect I'm describing seems more like the Rivellon Unleveled mod, but I don't have that mod installed (it hasn't even been updated for Definitive Edition yet)...
Tested two more times with your mod on and one time with it off. Both times the mod was on, the chest contained level 1 normal versions of "uniques". In one case, Dallis's hammer, even. But oddly, never any with just regular "high-level" but non-unique visuals/names. I think.
Anyway, the one time I tested with your mod off, I got regular trash starter item visuals. I would've tested more but the load time is sort of a hassle and the three tests suggest your mod is the one (somehow) causing pseudo-uniques.
It's possible that i had messed up by adding armor entries by level range instead of editing the level ranges of the existing entries. I've just updated the mod, please check it with your save if possible.
Thanks for reporting it and sorry for the trouble.
thanks so much for posting this on here, was having a hell of a time trying to get steam to download it. @ritchi11 what the mod does is give armor more visual variety, ie the lower level models continue to be generated & scaled to your level throughout the game.
Where and how does it happen? Things from the inventory do not change, the traders and so they grow. And what's the visual? I am interested to grow characteristics and the level of loot
The armors that you get as drops from mobs and/or buy from vendors *can* have a lower tier armor's look. If you don't care how your armors look or you're fine with the current selection of armor styles that you encounter, it's not a mod for you.
right, it's not going to change anything currently in your inventory. @ritchi11 there is another mod called "level up all equipment including uniques" that is probably what you're looking for
What does this mod-in the description is unclear. I do not understand what kind of nonsense and why it is needed? It would be clear if this mod sold old things to the dealer upgraded to the current level. And so - a useless thing in the game

This is very mysterious.
