Hi, I have encountered a bug with the executioner talent. When you kill an enemy and have 0 AP left, the executioner talent does not give you a 2 AP bonus. When you kill an enemy with some AP left, the +2 bonus is applied normally. In the end, I chose a different talent because I really like this mod. I hope you will fix it soon.
Thanks for taking the time to report this. This sort of feedback is really useful. I would have never noticed on my own, as I don't use that talent. I will look into it. I think more than a bug, it is just that I didn't program conditions for that specific case, as I didn't think of it. Thanks :)
Just downloaded this mod for a new playthrough apologies if this is a silly question, im in combat with a sheep and unable to end my turn, how do I achieve that? Thanks again
Is it not ending when you press the "end turn" button? Do you have the extender installed? Is the sheep in the tutorial? If so, I can try and fight it later to see if there is anything off specifically with that combat.
yes this is during the tutorial and there isn't an end turn button for me. i have the extender installed as well. where is the button normally? Im using a controller currently could that be cause an issue?
I see. There is no problem then, it is just that the controller UI is different from the keyboard + mouse one. I have always played with keyboard and mouse, so I have googled it and found that, if you are using an XBOX controller, you should hold B to end the turn, and if you are using a PlayStation controller, then it is done with the circle.
I am not sure I am fully understanding what you are asking. It is installed like any other mod. That is, you place the .pak in the mods folders and then activate the mod in-game in the native mods manager you can find in the main menu screen.
Unfortunately I had to uninstall it because of a couple of bugs: - The first one is related to the invisible status that spams the log outside of combat. It would be nice if it could be invisible, but I don't know if that's possible. Otherwise it forces you to turn the log on and off all the time. - Performance issues from time to time, I have about ten mods installed, and my hardware configuration is quite good: rtx 3060 ti, amd ryzen 5 5600x 6-core, 32 GB RAM ... - Inconsistencies in the action points available to Sebille as a scoundrel. Basically, she has a lot of AP available, much more than AP than what she should have access to.
First of all, thank you for reporting the issues. Did you encounter them with the last version of the mod? (the one I uploaded yesterday). If so, could you be able to tell me which mods are you using?
- The log thing is to be expected inside of combat, but the invisible status should be removed once combat is over. I have not encountered issues with the log outside of combat myself, so I was wondering if some sort of interaction with other mod prevents the invisible status from being removed.
- Same with Sebille as a scoundrel and the APs. I also have her as a Scoundrel in my party and I have not observed anything weird with her APs. This mod only ads 1 AP when you run out of them and subtracts that AP at the end of your turn, so no character should be getting extra APs outside those conditions. Could be, again, an issue with the interaction of other mods.
- Finally, the performance issues (and the issue with the log inside of combat) is something I am working on, but I need to learn Lua first. Using Lua (a programming language different from the native one of the game) would allow me to track characters' movement in a way more efficient way than using an invisible status. So, it might take a while, but I will eventually fix that.
You're welcome Anacronica, thank you for your very detailed feedback. I was using the previous version of your mod and updated it after reading your message.
- It's strange because I'm pretty sure I had the exact opposite behaviour. No log message during combats and "log spams" outside of combat. Here are my current mods, mods 1 mods 2 Anyway, it seems to be working fine now.
- Maybe something like that, Sebille's APs seem to be OK now though. I don't want to mislead you, but there may have been a problem here.
- And no performance problems during my last session either.
I am glad it works well now. Just in case, I will check what the problem might have been with the mods you are using (the ones I am not already using myself anyways).
Don't hesitate to report any further issues you might find :)
As for the log thing, I didn't have this problem at first (mod updated), but it reappeared after a few hours of play. I made a short video of the phenomenon, available here
Were you in combat at some point before this happened? Do you know what you were doing when it happened?
I will have a look at it again this evening to add a couple of conditions to remove the status if it gets applied outside of combat and also when you load your game if you are not in combat. It is all I can think about because the only conditions to have the status applied is when a combat starts or at the beginning of your turn if you don't have it already. Then it is removed when the combat ends. If this were like BG3 and you could enter turn mode outside of combat, that might be an explanation, but this game does not have that option.
It took a bit, but I think the new version I just uploaded should solve the log issue outside of combat. Again, thanks for reporting the issue and don't hesitate to let me know if you find any other problem.
Hello Anacronica. The log thing has indeed been fixed. I'll keep sending you feedback if needed. Your mod should be part of the base game, thank you for everything ;-)

=> I must have done at least one fight before it reappeared, given my played time that day.
Do you know what you were doing when it happened?
=> I really can't see anything in particular that could have caused that bug, sorry.
