The new update for multiplayer and controller support is now live on the official version. I was able to test it the past day or so, and can confirm that the new Party Management submenu works for transferring party members to other users. Now you can transfer party members 1-10 to other players (excluding the character you're controlling).
For controllers, I've added two skills that let you cycle between your characters, which can be adding via the "Commands" submenu in the settings menu. Note that the order characters are cycled currently doesn't respect the portrait order, as I'm unable to fetch that order with scripting. I have some ideas for determining the cycle order from the distance between characters, but that will come in a later update.
Hello thanks for this effort, it's a great mod! I am playing on gamepad/controller and I am strugling with 2 issues:
1) I can only see the inventory for 4 characters. Can't access the inventory for the 5 or 6 char in the party for example.
2) I can't cycle for the 5 or 6 char in the party to be able to access the detail a of the char, add points everytime I level, change the equipament, etc
This mod is very cool but don't use it with a controller. Switching to anybody other than the main 4 is difficult to impossible even with the switch character skill.
I'm in battle, I have one character that is not in combat and no matter what I do I can't swtich to them. And now it's the turn of somebody who isn't a main 4 yet I cannot swtich to them them.
I was previously using this as a steam workshop item. I want to use all 6 Origin characters plus my custom character, meaning I need to increase the default size of the party, but the book letting me change the mod settings has disappeared from my inventory. Deleting and reinstalling the mod doesn't give me another book. Is there anyway I can fix this?

Here's a little video of where these new options are in the settings menu:

As always, back up your saves!

Just don't use a controller.
Edit: Nvm. I are dum. -_-. Forgot to tick the mod box at the menu.
