- Increased the scaling of most Chaos damage skills.
Bring them Down now lasts for 3 turns instead of 2, and reduces resistances, initiative and damage by 10 instead of 5.
Shell Cracker now removes both Fortified and Magic Shell. It can now be used every 7 turns, instead of once per combat. However, it also threatens to Knock the user Down, and destroys a small amount of their physical armour.
Counterwise Feint now reduces the targets' base movement range via the Dented Armour debuff, and scales with 15% instead of 1%.
Altered a few skill descriptions to make them easier to understand, and to clear up a few issues that cropped up while working around engine limitations.
- Increased the scaling of most Chaos damage skills.
-
Version 3.05.01.00

Increased the base power per hit of "Another Realm's War" from 30% to 31%.
- Reduced the ability requirements of "Another Realm's War" from 3 Perseverance and 3 Leadership down to 2 of each.
-
Version 3.05.00.00
- Increased the damage scaling of purely magical Viator skills that inflict damage of a random type. These skills were always a bit underwhelming, and the randomness didn't pay off. This damage increase should help.
-

-
Version 3.04.03.02

-
Version 3.04.03.01

-
Version 3.04.01.04
- Adjusted the description of "Ignoble Assault".
-
Version 3.04.01.03
- Increased the cooldown of "Oppressive Force" from 2 to 3 turns. This skill was too strong for how quickly it became available again. This increase in cooldown will hopefully be the only necessary adjustment.
-
Version 3.04.01.02
- Fixed a bug where the percentage bonus from "Vengeful Guard" was 5% instead of the intended 10%.
-
Version 3.04.01.01
- Fixed the description of "Vengeful Guard". It now displays its new effect correctly.
-
Version 3.04.01.00
- Reduced the cost of "Ambush Totems" from 3 to 2 AP.
Reduced the cooldown of "Ambush Totems" from 7 to 6 turns.
Increased the AP cost of "Another Realm's Soil" from 1 to 2 AP. This skill proved too strong and reliable for its cost. This increase was necessary.
Increased the health pool scaling per level of the "Totemic Revenants" summoned by "Unending Duty" by 60%.
Instead of restoring Armour and Magic Armour, "Vengeful Guard" now provides protective layers of Armour and Magic Armour, increasing them by a small amount, and again by 10%.Fixed a bug where the statuses provided by "Hold Firm" were displaying the wrong descriptions.
- Reduced the cost of "Ambush Totems" from 3 to 2 AP.
-
Version 3.04.00.00
- Changed the icons of the skillbooks added by this mod.
-
Version 3.03.01.00
- Reduced the AP cost of "Leader of Rivellon" from 3 to 1 AP.
Elemental Grounding now grants healing and fire resistance for suffering from Necrofire, but does not remove it.
Shortened the description of "Harsh Orders".
"Forced March" now cleanses "Entangled", but does not grant immunity to it.
"Denting Blow" now causes a reduction to Physical Resistance for 2 turns instead of 1 if the enemy has no Armour or the skill breaks it.
"Shattering Impact" now reduces the base movement range of enemies for 1 turn.
Fixed a bug where "Shattering Impact" could strike neutral targets.
Increased the damage inflicted by "Field Splitter".
Increased the damage inflicted by "Denting Blow".
Increased the range of "Gospel of the Dead"'s initial cast radius from 8m to 9m.
Increased "Gospel of the Dead"'s range of recovery effects around corpses from 3m to 4m.

Fixed a visual bug where "Another Realm's Sun" did not spawn its projectile properly.
- Reduced the AP cost of "Leader of Rivellon" from 3 to 1 AP.
-
Version 3.03.00.00
- Introduced an additional NPC to the epilogue of the game. It offers nothing but a tiny bit of background worldbuilding, but only if you asked to join in act 4.
-
Version 3.02.09.00

Changed the description of "Exorcising Shot" to conform to an engine limitations where weapon attacks without damage can not apply weapon effects.
"Turnwise Feint" now inflicts a miniscule amount of damage to bypass the same limitation.
- Reduced the AP cost of "Exorcising Shot" from 2 to 1 AP.
-
Version 3.02.08.02
- Fixed a bug where elemental defence bonuses sometimes did not display their origins properly.
-
Version 3.02.08.01
- Reworded the skill and status descriptions of "Hold Firm" to clarify their effects.
-
Version 3.02.08.00
- "Dimensional Impact" now inflicts the "Dented Armour" debuff, lowering the targets' base movement per AP spent.
-
Version 3.02.07.01
- Made a minor adjustment to multiple Viator skill that erroneously said they would make their targets explode.
-
Version 3.02.07.00
- Reduced the AP cost of "Turnwise Momentum" from 3 AP to 2 AP.
Increased the instantly lethal threshhold of "Heartbreaker" against charmed targets from 20% to 25%.
Made the skill description of "Hold Firm" more accurate.

-

- Fixed a bug where "Unification" could sometimes revive dead NPCs.
-
Version 3.02.06.00

-
Version 3.02.05.00
- Solved multiple issues with the dialogue of the skillbook trader in act 3.
-
Version 3.02.04.00
- "Hold Firm" now recovers 4% of the Armour and Magic Armour of all those affected on their turn.
In return, its aura range was reduced. It once again lasts longer than its cooldown.
"Resolve Superposition" now recovers 15% of the Armour and Magic Armour of all those affected on their turn.
The skill's costs have been reduced from 1AP to 0AP. This specific change is tentative and may be reverted if it turns out too strong in testing.
Clarified the skill descriptions of "Harsh Orders" and "Gospel of the Dead".
- "Hold Firm" now recovers 4% of the Armour and Magic Armour of all those affected on their turn.
-
Version 3.02.03.00
- Replaced the visual effects for the defensive statuses from "Rocky Greeting", "Terror Charger" and "Lashing Defense"

-
Version 3.02.01.00
- Reduced the cost of "Denounciation" from 2AP to 1AP.
Clarified multiple skill descriptions and made others easier to read.
Fixed multiple minor spelling errors in skill descriptions.
Changed the skill descriptions of "Unification" and "Source Geyser". They no longer list all of the statuses they cleanse, but the skills' names, descriptions and costs are now actually visible on anything smaller than a 4K monitor, instead of just showing a massive list of cleansed statuses.
- Reduced the cost of "Denounciation" from 2AP to 1AP.
-
Version 3.02.00.00
- Changed how the skillbook traders function. Those you have not yet met will now start out as neutral NPCs, and will no longer just run away from being attacked.
-
Version 3.01.12.00
- Fixed a bug where "Sacrificial Protection" didn't actually recover Armour and Magic Armour on cast.
Improved the Armour and Magic Armour recovered from "Vengeful Guard".
Reduced the casting cost of "Vengeful Guard" from 2AP to 1AP.

-
Version 3.01.09.00
- Added a singular file needed for the update of "Four Paradigms of Chaos".
-
Version 3.01.08.00

-
Version 3.01.06.00

-
Version 3.01.05.01
- Fixed a bug where "Distressing Presende" did not actually have nearby enemies "Distress" under certain circumstances.
-
Version 3.01.05.00
- Changes since release:
- Improved "Hold Firm" to grant +5 to "Perseverance" instead of +3.
- Fixed the memory cost of "Dimensional Overload".
- Increased damage scaling of "Dimensional Overload" from x1.1 to x1.25.
- "Dimensional Overload" now electrifies, douses, ignites, or melts susceptible surfaces on detonation.
- Modified skill description of "Dimensional Overload" to account for a hard coded engine issue, where users may not actually electrify surfaces, but shock themselves instead, if the skill detonates while they have no magic armour and stand in blood or water.
- Fixed a typo in the status description of "Chaotic Charge".
- Added status icons for self inflicted damage to armour and magic armour.
- Implemented workaround to prevent issues with the "Torturer" talent. If a character has the afforementioned talent, they will see the status icon for losing armour/magic armour for an additional turn. This is purely cosmetic.
- They lose the same amount of armour and/or magic armour from using certain Viator skills as a character without this talent would.
- Fixed skill trader NPCs using the wrong character portraits.
- Partially reworked "Heat of Combat". It now lowers the fire resistance of all within. The skill still sets targets "Burning", but now only on its initial cast, where it also ignites/melts susceptible surfaces. Some hard-coded limitations of the divinity engine made the original idea unfeasible without increasing script load, which would have gone against the idea of this being a light-weight mod.
- "Heat of Combat" received a less obfuscating field effect.
- Increased the aura duration of "Resolve Superposition" from 1 turn to 3 turns. This skill is part of a larger lvl 16+ master source skill. While the immediate impact of the other skills seems good based on current testing, the aura rarely has any effect. The extended duration should help with that. Tentative change, prone to later adjustments. I would especially appreciate feedback on this specific change.
- Fixed a bug that prevented "Defog" from absorbing clouds.
- Fixed a bug that caused "Defog" to heal no magic armour when the character had the "Hydrosophist" ability at rank 0. Improved healed amount to compensate.
- Fixed a bug where "Another Realm's Soil" healed the wrong characters in addition to the intended targets.
- Fixed a bug where the projectile of "Condensed Pellet" did not behave as intended.
- Increased the duration of "Suffocating" caused by "Condensed Pellet".
- Fixed an unintended case where the projectile of "Condensed Pellet" jumped to very close targets instead of the ground behind the initial target, Changed description of "Condensed Pellet" to account for a hard coded engine limitation regarding terrain and bouncing projectiles.
- Fixed the description of "Dimensional Instability".
- Fixed the description of "Dimensional Impact".
- Improved the range of the defensive status conveyed by "Terror Charger" from 3 to 5 meters to prevent cases where the effect was prevented by other, similar effects.
- Improved the range of the defensive status conveyed by "Lashing Defense" from 3 to 4 meters to prevent cases where the effect was prevented by other, similar effects.
- Replaced the Driftwood skillbook vendor. The new vendor is positioned at the water near the Meistr's house. The previous vendor location caused multiple issues. While it looks like the same vendor, it is a new NPC. If you had bribed the skillbook vendor in versions prior to "1.005.00" and still wish to have a discount with him, then you will need to re-do this.
- Introduced a new form of grenade that only exists in very limited amounts, hidden across acts 2, 3 and 4. When flung, it creates a small patch of blessed smoke. Each of the skillbook vendors in act 2, 3, and 4 have one near them. The others are hidden away.
- Fixed a bug where dwarven characters could repeat the initial dialogue with the skillbook trader in act 2.
- Reworked “Conjoin”. It encroached on “Peace of Mind”’s role in combat. It has been given its own effect instead. It can no longer target enraged allies. It now cleanses Blind, Sleeping, Charmed and Fear from the target, but not from the user. It also improves strength, finesse and intelligence for both user and target. While generally less powerful, it can now be stacked with "Clear Minded" for a greater total effect.
- Increased the range of the prepared attacks from “Terror Charger” and “Lashing Guard” by 1m each.
- Fixed a bug that prevented different special effect animations for skills to fire.
- Fixed a bug where the "Dimensional Blows" skill didn't knock you down if you didn't have armour inbetween strikes.
- Changed "Speed Shift" to leave the ground below the user free of oil, while also slightly reducing the size of the oil puddle. Its applications were too few and far between. This change should allow more utility to be gained from the spell, and generally make it more usable.
- Introduced the “Custos” skills, as well as the “Custos” and “Ericius” starter classes, plus new unique weapons. Also added randomly generated spears to be sold by the skillbook merchants. If you wish to not use such options for trade, then check another of my mods which increases the drop chance for spears.
- Fixed a few spelling mistakes in skill and status descriptions.
- Fixed "Conjoin" not costing 2 AP. This was an oversight, and a result of the rework the skill received. It now costs 2 AP as intended.
- Fixed a bug where human Viatores showed the wrong preview numbers for weapon skill damage during character creation.
- Fixed a bug where the displayed range of "Speed Shift" was larger than the actual effect.
- Improved the range at which "Speed Shift" spreads oil.
- Reduced the stat increases granted by "Conjoin" to the intended level.
- Slightly increased the damage dealt by "Dimensional Triplet".
- Fixed a bug where enemies struck by "Lightning Speed" did not explode properly at the end of their next turn.
- Added a whole new set of "Dux" skills, centred around "Leadership".
- Introduced the "General's Scepter", a new lvl 20 weapon for "Leadership" characters.
- Fixed inconsistencies in how some skill descriptions are spelled.
- Fixed spelling mistakes in the true-born lizard exclusive dialogue for the first skillbook trader.
- Added a missing piece of information to the skill description of "Conjoin".
- Fixed an issue that caused enemies to mostly ignore the totemic warriors summoned by "Ambush Forces".
- Ever so slightly lowered the base damage of totemic warriors summoned by both "Ambush Forces" and "Unending Duty".
- Fixed craftable skills introduced with the "Dux" update not being craftable.
- Fixed a bug that caused elemental totems to spawn instead of totemic warriors when targetting certain surfaces with "Ambush Forces".
- Fixed a bug that caused "Turnwise Feint" to inflict full weapon damage instead of only applying weapon effects.
- Increased the cost of "Turnwise Feint" from 2 AP to 3 AP. Decreased the cost of "Widdershins Swing" from 1 AP to 0 AP. This frontloads the cost, but if "Widdershins Swing" is used on both turns, then the total cost is actually decreased by 1.
- Slightly lowered the damage of the totemic warriors summoned by "Ambush Forces" when not attacking from stealth. The first attack retains its initial power and has actually been brought back up to 3.000.00's levels of damage. However, attacks that are not executed from stealth lose roughly 15% damage. The base health of these summoned units has also been reduced by ~9.1%, and the skill's summoning range has been reduced from 5m to 3m. Testing has shown that this skill was far too powerful.
- Increased the damage dealt by "Dust Stomp".
- Fixed a spelling inconsistency in the skill description of "Harsh Orders".
- Fixed a spelling mistake in the skill description of "Unending Duty".
- Reduced the damage dealt by totemic warriors summoned by "Unending Duty" (-12%). Extensive testing has shown that these were too powerful for their cost and while the high cooldowns, costs and corpse requirements make them harder to use than some other skills, the immediate potential was just too great.
- Increased the radial range of "Captain's Respite" from 5m to 6m. Increased the healing gained from "Captain's Respite" by 10%. Increased the cost of "Captain's Respite" from 1 AP to 2 AP. Tentative change, prone to later adjustments. I would especially appreciate feedback on this specific change.
- Fixed a bug that caused the first skillbook vendor to not sell spears as intended. This fix will not always take effect if the "Fort Joy" map has already been entered and the trader spoken to. However, it will function for subsequent playthroughs.
- Made the healing and initiative bonus from "Harsh Orders" exclusive to the target and slightly reduced the healing effect. Tentative change, prone to later adjustments. I would especially appreciate feedback on this specific change.
- The duration and cooldown of "Hold Firm" were both increased to 6 turns.
- Changed the "Ambush Forces" skill. The summoning range of the skill was increased.
- The totemic ambushers summoned by "Ambush Forces" lost the talent: "The Pawn", but had their base movement range doubled to compensate. Their attacks inflict increased damage and they are now limited to using their attack skill, preventing them from using basic attacks. They spend 1 turn stealthed and inert, unless they are granted AP by outside means. Tentative change, prone to later adjustments. I would especially appreciate feedback on this specific change.
- Multiple skills that improve Perseverance, Retribution or Leadership had to be changed. They are now only usable during combat. While I dislike this change, it was necessary to prevent an exploit.
- Changed how versions are numbered to have them be more in line with how D:OS2 numbers mod versions.
- Changed some of the Dux's skill and status icons to help differentiate them better.
- Fixed an issue where skill descriptions did not list "Leader's Prerogative" properly. The status was being applied, this bug was merely visual.
- Fixed a bug where "Source Geyser" did not clear the appropriate statuses.
- Fixed a bug where "Shell Cracker" did not remove "Magic Shell" from the target.
- Fixed a bug where the smoke created by "Journey through the Hall" lasted indefinetely.
- Changed how the "Viator" skills that damage Armour and Magic Armour scale, making them hit less hard on early levels, and harder on later ones. They now inflict damage based on your maximum respective stat, with the exception of "Conjoin", which scales with your current Magic Armour.
- Increased the damage dealt by "Delaying Flail" and "Dimensional Triplet". The latter one now drains some of the user's Magic Armour as well.
- Changed the negative side effects of "Another Realm's Sun", which now strips all Armour and Magic Armour and threatens to cause a knockdown, while placing a fire surface under the caster's feet. It no longer inflicts Acid or Suffocating on the caster.
- Skills like "Terror Charger", "Dimensional Overcharge", "Rocky Greeting" and similar ones that inflict damage via a secondary instance now properly display the damage they will inflict.
- Changed "Icon of Vengeance" to conform to engine limitations. It now provides both of its bonuses immediately.
- Fixed a bug that caused "Vaulting Leap" to let the user jump 40m instead of the intended 4m behind the target.
- Fixed a bug that caused "Oppressive Force" and "Leading Attack" to inflict no damage.
- Clarified the skill description of "Toxic Well".
- Added supporting files for the mod "Four Paradigms of Chaos - Modded Encounters by Galgamos".
- Fixed a typo in the skill description of "Lightning Speed".
- 3.01.04.05: Fixed an issue where "Field Promotion" did not grant additional AP to other allied characters.
- 3.01.05.00: Increased the damage inflicted by many of the mod's skills, especially Viator abilities. Extensive playtesting has shown that this is necessary due to how character progression influences "Chaos Damage". Others that underperformed were increased as well. They will now hit harder in the early game, and will reach a fairly balanced state in the mid- to late game.
