This mod requires Norbyte's Script Extender and OdinCore - Mod Services to use.

Feeling lost with your build after putting 10 points into Summoning? Do you feel like Summons fall-off later on in the game? Well then, this is the mod for you!

This mod provides additional scaling to any Summons based on their owners Attribute points. When reaching a certain threshold, any Summons will also gain new Boon statuses. These bonuses apply to any and all Summons and Totems from the basegame and mods.

What is the Script Extender and why do I need it?
Norbyte's Script Extender is similar to how the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) works; it provides access to a lot of lower-level code for modders. As such, I've been able to create lots of new script-heavy mechanics for this mod.

Another excellent feature that the Script Extender provides is a HUGE improvement to load times when playing with lots of mods, cutting 10-minute load screens down by ~90%. Even if you aren't planning on using this overhaul, I'd recommend grabbing the extender for that feature alone!

How do I install it?
I created a Steam Guide which provides step-by-step installation instructions. The extender only needs to be installed once, and will only take a couple of minutes to do so.

CHECK OUT THE EXTENDER INSTALL GUIDE HERE!

Alternatively, if you are using LaughingLeader's excellent Mod Manager, you can simply click the "Tools" option at the top of the window, and then click "Download & Install Osiris Extender". Easy peasy!

How do Summons scale with their owner's Attributes?
Each bonus point or point you spec into your Attributes also provides small benefits to your Summons (excluding the 10 points in each you begin the game with):
  • Strength: For every 1 point, your Summons gain 0.5% Damage Reduction.
  • Intelligence: For every 1 point, your Summons gain a 1% Damage Boost.
  • Finesse: For every 1 point, your Summons gain a 1% Critical Chance Boost.
  • Constitution: For every 1 point, your Summons gain a 3% Vitality Boost.
  • Memory: For every 1 point, your Summons gain a 1.5% Armour and Magic Armour Boost.
  • Wits: For every 1 point, your Summons gain 0.25m Bonus Range.

As each point bonus is small, you may only feel a real difference towards the later portions of the game, helping to bring Summons up toward lategame viability.

How do Summons gain new the Boons?
After gaining enough Attribute points (including the 10 points in each you begin the game with), your Summons gain new Boon statuses which each provide new effects:
  • Strength [25 total points] - Boon of Aggravation: When the Summon enters combat, enemies are significantly more likely to target them.
  • Intelligence [25 total points] - Boon of Chaos: At the start of each turn, the Summon will deal a pulse of Chaos damage to enemies within a 4m radius.
  • Finesse [25 total points] - Boon of Voracity: The Summon enters combat with an additional +1 AP of their first turn.
  • Constitution [20 total points] - Boon of Redirection: At the start of combat, the Summon's owner will gain the Designate Redirection skill. Using the skill on a Summon will redirect 30% of the owner would take to them instead. This skill can only be used once per combat.
  • Memory [20 total points] - Boon of Mending: Whenever the Summon is healed, restore 30% of that amount to their Armour and Magic Armour.
  • Wits [25 total points] - Boon of Artillery: At the start of each turn, the Summon gains an additional 20% damage boost. Moving disable this effect for the remainder of the turn.

When are the bonuses applied?
The bonuses are applied when you perform the Summon. This means that you will need to resummon any persistent Summons, e.g. Animal Companions from my Huntsman Class Overhaul.
