Used Vortex Mod Manager to download/install and enabled Mod in DOS2.  But it doesn't work.  New games starts on tutorial level on the ship.  Is there any other steps required to get this mod working?  Thanks!

I was wondering, getting a skip act 1. Is that something really annoying to do, or is it something that could be done easily? Cus i played fort joy many, many times, but then the ones i play with have no time or something. Witch makes me have to redo everything again. Getting a tad bit tedious. And because i never tried modding this, so i don't know how annoying it is.

Just a bit disappointed that there's no option to also swipe one of the death fog barrels if you have the telekinesis. I can generally always grab one.

Great mod. Really saves a lot of time; however, there is the minor problem of where your companions think you abandoned them back on the ship. Not sure how hard that is to fix - or add an option to pick either or - but I figured I'd make the suggestion.

I'm wondering too. Would like it when that could be "fixed" or to have the option at least. :)

I've updated the mod to add the option to rescue the Origin characters. As far as I am aware it only changes some of the dialog with the origin characters. Is there something else "rescuing" them does?

Thank you very much for the update! Afaik it does not change anything more than dialog, but I actually just started playing this game so I don't know for sure, but I couldn't find anything apart from that while searching for it.
I just like being a nice guy haha so that's my reason for asking at least.

I'm sorry I couldn't really answer your question, but I just wanted to thank you for updating it and for your mod in general. :)

You really need to change it so you start with lvl 2 and 1200 exp. It's what I always end up with after a perfect ship run ( this includes fireballing the 2 guys on the upper deck before they get slammed by the octopus). The extra 1k is required to hit lvl 6 before leaving fort joy without unnecessary killings

taking level 2 before fort joy will prevent you to use 2nd civil points for all comps, when comp is level 2 he will have already invested civil points.
may i ask why you need level 6 before leaving FJ

@sergiu1337 As Zerggerberg mentions, there is some method to the logic. With the latest update, you can land on the beach and click the barrel to "rescue" the origins (if you want - no impact on the game except some dialog). Go talk to them and recruit them while still at Level 1. Then go back to the barrel and grab the xp. If the origin characters go to level 2 with you, then you are able to invest their points how you wish.

As for getting 3200 xp and this that and the other in the tutorial. My first release of the mod gave you nothing, since I felt if you wanted the xp/gold you could just do the tutorial. I think what is provided is way more than fair. If you really want 3200xp, then do the tutorial.

Hi, could you extend this, or make another mod so that I can start in Act II ?

    Thanks
