Great job! Having loads of fun with this. I'm using it for a lone wolf run at the moment. This is a pretty OP build, but still requires strategic positioning. It basically gives you two of every other character in your party in terms of attacking power. The fun twist is that the Mime is landlocked during the other turns. So he might be able to copy crippling blow, but if there's no one in front of him then he does diddly squat as theres nothing to hit. However, if you gang up on a character and go ham with close range, Mime will pretty much act like additional AP and double your hits. And the Mime gets a turn on top of that to use great original CC skills.

For anyone worried about balance, I find lone wolf, mixed damage, and tactician mode to be a good fit so far. Really ups the tactics, and I find myself purposefully 'wasting' attacks so that my Mime can hit instead. Super fun! Refreshes the hell out of encounters!

I've been loving this mod so far, having the mime saved my ass more times than I could count.

I've run into a problem though. Just after fighting Windego, the Mime is suddenly permanently encumbered. He cannot follow or move at all, and I do not know how to get rid of the state. Using the bedroll works, but only for a few seconds. Has this happened to anyone else?

Edit: Fixed by reloading previous save.

For some reason, my character is unable to mimic party actions. Nothing happens other than my Brawler's Fist getting deleted when I should've mimicked. Any ideas?

Replying to my own post due to a new discovery. Turns out that my character will mimic buffs allies cast on themselves without issue. Everything else is not mimicked though.

    i'm facing a problem.
First, ty for that great mod.
What i've tried so far: 1 - Tried with my normal save and tons of addons on
2 - Tried create another game from start with only LeaderLib and Animation mods on.
3 - Tried z-combinations with present menu and mime options.
4 - Tried move up and down the three mods on addons ladder
    What i'm facing:
Grouped mime, i'm without mask, tried out of combat and in to use a normal att on floor, crates etc and on targets during combat, the mime only kick in middle air, it don't mimic my weapon, it doesn't hit any of my targets when i use skills... it only mimc with perfection is general targetless skills like fortify.
Mimicked skills damage is very very low even with 100% option of the menu selected.
Music box is not refreshed on npc. If it disappears from inv you can't get another from npc.
I have the script extender installed.
Can you help me plz? I thank you in advance.
Maybe this LeaderLib version here, or Animation plus, on nexus are outdated and interferes...
    All the best.
OBS: After updates, it works now. TYVM!

I wanted to summon the mimic in an existing save , however when i go trade with ol'Lothar i dont find the music box . Went to do a new save to check if the mod is working and i could start as a mimic .I've put the mimic mod on top of the modf list , just below the 2 necessary mods .

This is a super cool class- It even works with modded skills if you installed the correct libraries too!

For some reason when I try to mimic a basic attack it says mimicking failed the only mods i have are the 2 required to run the mod and the crafting overhaul is there a certain mod order i need to have this in to work?

It puts 4 created characters at the beginning of the game. I have 8 mods for now
Chronomancer, Hephaistos Berserker, Void Knight, skillbook recepies, New Skill combos, Enemy randomization, Level up all equipment, Custumizable movement speed.
Is it because of combination of this mod and one of those or?
Because I would like to test this mod but if I have 5 characters at the beginning it really kills me... I tried with 1st 3rd and 4th version so I assume the 2nd is the same.

Not entirely sure what you mean. This mod doesn't put any characters in the game beyond the mime follower, who you summon with the music box. You mention you have 8 mods, but you have the dependencies of this mod too, right? LeaderLib and Animations Plus.

      I don't have those
      Leader Lib and animation plus
Edit: I will download those and see if the same thing happens if it does I will try to screen what it says in game
Edit 2: So 4 "Custom" Characters are created when there is wrong mod load order it bugs the game and it gives you 4 additional characters
Edit 3: This is gonna take awhile, Answer find the right LeaderLib that works on my version of divinity which supports the said version of mimicry...
Sorry didn't know thx for answering
Well Unfortunatly I can't use this mod
I used final version of LeaderLib mod (V1.1.2.0) [That works with my version of the game] and it doesn't work with first mimicry, while it works fine with Animations Plus... Thx anyway

All of my mods are for the latest version of the game, so you should really be using the latest versions whenever possible. If you're using an older version of the game for some reason, I recommend updating if you can.

Additionally, I'm pretty shocked you could play the game without LeaderLib when using Mimicry, since it relies on scripts provided by LeaderLib (this is why it's listed as a requirement when you go to download Mimicry). Did you get story errors when trying to start a new game? That's a surefire sign that you're missing mod dependencies.

Yes that was the error and when the error appeared the game created 4 custom characters xD
didn't read dependencies because all of the mods that I have been using were standalone mods xD

That error is basically saying "There was an error merging together all the new scripts from mods, so we're reverting back to the default story and will most likely have issues. Enjoy!" haha. So yeah, makes sense why the game would get all weird after that.
