for anyone else who has had to do away with this mod because of the recipes issue, my "fix" was to deactivate it and increase the carry weight of the carry your burdens mod.
It's easy enough to change, feel free to message me if you want help doing the same.
DON"T USE THIS UNLESS YOUR WILLING TO TURN IT OFF AND ON ALL THE TIME!!!
Sadly this mod breaks a fair few crafting recipes, such as different types of arrowheads and bombs and even QUEST recipes like source-infused meat won't be possible.
You could switch it on and off as a workaround but that a pain to do when you just want to craft some arrowheads...
Thanks for this!! Perhaps if the base game implemented far better mechanics for inventory management carry weight wouldn't be quite as much of an issue, but as it is ... well ... as far as I'm concerned, this is an essential quality-of-life mod.
That said, I've just run across an issue I'm surprised no one else has yet to report here: It seems that your mod does something to the tags of essences (I can't take credit for tracking that detail down -- see this thread for more info) that makes them unusable for crafting.
Specifically, I ran into the issue when I wasn't able to craft the Source-Infused Mutton needed for the Duna/Keep Calm and Carrion quest The recipe is Raw Mutton + Any Earth Essence + Source Orb, but when I try to craft it, it's reported as an invalid combination. Testing other recipes, it appears that in general anything involving essences (e.g., Stoneskin Potion = Empty Potion Bottle + Earth Essence) fails in the same way, as long as your mod installed.
Disabling the mod, my (now severely encumbered) character was able to craft the recipe(s). An obvious workaround, then, is to disable this mod, do any crafting involving essences, and then re-enable it, so this isn't exactly a game-breaker, however a fix would certainly be nice, as it's definitely inconvenient -- and reload times can sometimes get painfully slow when changing mod configurations.
If there's any chance you could look into the issue, that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
This mod Break the quest "The Vault of Linder Kemm" as it needs the weight of painting named "Responsibility" to open the door the workaround is to disable the mod then open the door then save and enable the mod again
Actually you can use any other items that bear similar weight in place of Responsibility painting. I have the same issue just resently when doing this quest, someone suggest that it's not necessary to use Responsibility painting so I just randomly use ‘’Painting of the divine" and it turns out fine!!!

One small issue: a quest item in act 4 becomes weightless making it stop working. I had to use an ornate chest in its place.
