The limit is set in the game, the maximum number of action points can not exceed 20, I do not know yet whether it can be increased, for this reason it is impossible to make the option 12+12, 16+8, and 16+16, they had to be changed to 12+8 and 16+4. But honestly, all that is greater than 8+8 can be considered as cheat, so in my opinion this is the most optimal option.
Ah, I understand, it's easy to do, but since this topic is created only for lone wolf, where to place it? Create a new topic? I'm not sure that many are waiting for such mod, I do not even know, I'll think about it
Can I have 3 Characters in the party and each one of them having the Lone Wolf?I mean the party limit is 3 ?right?Lone Wolf grants bonuses when the player party is under 2 characters, meaning if they have 3 it'll be reduced and 4 it'll be nullified completely? and do u know how much will be reduced?
Everything is explained in the description of talent. You can not have more than 2 lone wolves, otherwise the bonuses are temporarily suspended. And this is done not by accident, because you can go through the game with one wolf, with two it can be an easy walk, with three or more it is already cheating and completely destroys the balance
yeah, maybe the wiki was wrong? I mean I want to have as many Characters as the lone wolf can still working, story-wise only have 2 maybe a little underwhelming when u using a custom character, 12+4+4 would be great tho
If anyone makes a mod that will remove lone wolves party size limit, then you can have 3-4 wolves, but my opinion is that this makes no sense, it will not be interesting to play at all. This is the same thing, that just take away from the enemies half of their characteristics. I could make such mod in 30 seconds, but I do not want. If it's hard for you to play, then it's better to just lower the difficulty. Now it seems to me that 8+8 AP is too much, so I switched to 6+4. The game has skills and talents that increase the amount of AP legally
For now I play for two lone wolves, and how much I understand you want to play alone? But does the game establish any restrictions on this? If yes, then recently I saw somewhere here a mod to remove this restriction, I do not remember just what. I think that it makes no sense to me to try to invent another bicycle
I would also like to see a mod to remove the part restriction on the perk so my friend can use their 2 characters and I can use my own (so we have 3 total) I tried searching for lone wolf mod on the nexus with only this poping up so it might not be re-inventing the bicycle after all =D
I'll see if it can be done with the help of an engine, but if I need to write scripts for this, then I'm afraid that I can not do it. Once I tried to learn how to program scripts, but I did not have enough willpower to continue learning. Also look at this mod - https://www.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin2/mods/28/? it says that it gives you the opportunity to play alone, it's certainly good, but it seems to me that this mod breaks the balance, especially closer towards the middle of the game
oh yea, I am using normal Lone wolf and I feel that the two of us are smashing through, I think for coop though you should be able to use 1 lone wolf and 2 on the other player without it breaking balance too much. I mean diff teams and all.
In this case, there is another must have mod, without which I do not represent this game. I advise to try it https://www.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin2/mods/58/?
I'm sorry to upset you, but afraid that I'm not the chosen savior. I found some points related to the structure of the companions, but these are all scripts in which I do not understand much. But for you not everything is lost, there is a mod is called Expanded party size, and this is half of what you need. Ask its author, maybe he will give you what you want.
Sorry if Im missing something here, a little bit more detail and examples would help though. What does 8+8 mean, or any of the other numbers.
Like 8 max ap, and 8 ap regeneration? Thus would 6+4 technically be a nerf to the original lone wolf ability? Or is it adding 8 ap to what you get already? *blinks* Hard to choose which one I think would be best when I dont understand what the numbers represent.
Everything is very simple, the option 8+8 means that at the beginning of each fight you get only 8 action points, and also the ability to accumulate an additional 1-8 points after completing the current turn. Thus, at the beginning of the next turn you will already have 9-16 action points
I started a new character, gave it lone wolf with the 8+8 option. When I start combat I only have 6 AP and a make of 12 AP to be stored. Is this correct? I thought this would start me with 8 AP to boot.
No, it should not be so. I just created a new profile, created a new game and I have 8+8 points. I see only two reasons. The first you may have a conflict with some kind of mods, try to lift my mod above others in the options. The second you forgot activate mod in the game options. But where did you get an additional 12 points? That's the question, I do not even know.
Edit: Perhaps you are using the old version, there have been errors, try a new one
