I have Def Edition on Steam and this doesnt work for me.
I tried everything. Put in the the file you mentioned...nothing. Still a silly bush. Put it in the game file....nothing, still a silly bush.
I give up...f*#@ this game! Seriously, how can someone make such a serious game and f*#@ it up by turning a sneaky charakter into a bush or a freakin rock when he decides to go in stealth mode???? Stupid! Horrible!
Lmao such a ray of sunshine! Why does everyone else make this work just fine except you? Giving up the whole game just because you failed to do some simple copy pasta? Lucky for you I still care enough to give you some damn help: Do it again, and do exactly as instruction. Mine works fine, Steam DE version.
Omg I hated this so much about the game. Gave me the impression that the world was 'a silly, comedic world' and not a serious one. Glad I found this mod!!
Make sure you're installing it in "C:\Games\Divinity - Original Sin 2\DefEd" and not "C:\Games\Divinity - Original Sin 2\" or where your game is installed.
Tested it to be sure, and yes, it works just fine with Definitive Edition. You just need to put it in the right place, since the file path is different.
1. Extract the zipped mod file from your downloads (using an unzip program of your choice).
2. You'll now need to open up the newly extracted mod folder that's marked "Data" and just inside THAT will be one named "Public".
3. Copy and paste that "Public" folder (with all it's contents) into: "\Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\Data" (as listed above) and it'll work (or at least it just has for me and I'm certainly not the most computer savvy user).
I hope that's helped clarify the process there...
This mod has literally just saved the game for me, thank you!
I always play as roguish types in RPGs and was so put off when I saw that stupid barrel animation I was about to quit and uninstall it! I can't believe there's not an official option to toggle that on or off?!
I use a similar mod for Divinity : Original Sin Enhanced Edition, and I tried to contact the member who post the mod but he never answered to my message asking him politely if he can upload a similar mod to Divinity : Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition. Some members just never answer, and that's really bad. I understand when we are not polite, but when we are, there's no reason to don't answer at all.
Anyway, thanks a lot for this mod. It's a must have for these games.
I'm not on Divinity : Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition actually, don't even own it already, I'm on the first one in Enhanced Edition.
I'll endorse your mod and hope you can reach the objective to update it to the point you want it !
