What are the chances off a tone down version in the future? For me it feels kinda backward to design around difficulty-increasing mods as a 'normal difficulty' instead of normal mode and then having the difficulty mods make it harder than that baseline.

Hi, I feel quite stupid asking this but I've been looking for twenty minutes for the chest/ skillbooks and I'm not sure if it didn't spawn from mod incompatibility or something or if I'm really just that blind. I was wondering if you would mind adding a screenshot or describing the location in more detail? Regardless the icons at least look pretty cool and I think your stance to switch element concept is really cool so I'll look forward to that.
Hey there, you can find the chest/books due north of the execution scene on top of the isolated section of the broken bridge. There was an issue where, when loaded into a pre-existing save the chest was empty so now the books are near the chest, as well as in the chest if its on a new save. Let me know if you still can't find it. I haven't been playing DOS2 much lately but i'll go in and nab a screengrab if you still need.

Working on it right now. It seems like when loaded onto old saves they aren't showing up. I'm going to put them on the ground for now until I can get a for sure fix. I really don't know why it would change depending on if it was a new or an old save. Thanks for your patience!
