Odin! I completely forgot to come back here and endorse and leave a comment for you, you know, for another amazing mod, you modding genius you ? I usually avoid fire for some reason, I get enough angst when I'm up against those damn necro fire mobs. Fire HURTS haha. But I have my tank guy using this with warfare and he's BRUTAL! Thanks doll, I do so appreciate you hard work.

Thank you for making this mod, it really opened up a more fun pyromancer play through! Excellent mod! Currently I'm using a mod that makes skills scale off of whatever is your weapons primary attribute in order to make a good Battlemage. It works for the vanilla skills but your modded skills still say INT based, is there any way I can edit them to scale off of the weapon's main attribute?

Hey! So pleased to hear you're enjoying the new skills and changes!

Regarding the weapon-scaling mod, I'm happy to take a look into creating it as a seperate add-on to this mod. To make things a bit easier, would you mind linking the mod here so I can take a look?

      Thanks!

I'm not sure if it's a comparability issue, although I'm fairly sure it isn't since this mod is last in the load order for me and none of my others should be conflicting, but condemning explosion doesn't seem to be doing the correct damage to others when used on a corps. The tooltip for me at level 5 is saying 82-91, though I haven't seen it do more than 40 damage. I'm at a bit of a loss here, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same before I have to start playing doctor with all my mods to see what the culprit might be.

Oh rats! Sorry this was a bug I fixed on my Steam version and I forgot to upload it here! I’m on holiday at the moment, but I’ll upload the fix when I’m back in a few days. Sorry again!

I switched to the steam version but it's still doing the same thing. This is very strange.

Edit: Your fast casting mod is what's causing the error. I also have fast casting mages and that mod reverts your name change of scorching ignition back to ignition regardless of load order, in addition to removing the tooltip information regarding stack damage numbers on both the aforementioned skill and spontaneous combustion. Removing just that restores the tooltip information, the skills seem to still function properly.

Ah right - I see what you mean about Faster Casting being the issue. I'll take another look when I can!

Is there a way to download the compatibility patch for fast casting mages without having to download it from steam? Thanks!!

I was about to post this same question. Nothing in particular against Steam, but I like to have full control over mods I install and/or update. If there's any chance, I'm sure there's a few people would be grateful. I'd like to pass-on my congratulations to Odinblade as well, loving every one of the Class mods I've tried, bloody brilliant!! :-)

Apologies for the delay (I have been SWAMPED with work this week!) but it's done!

It's now available under the Files section - be sure to have both the base mod and the add-on enable to see the effects!

Many thanks Odinblade! I do see your point about the patch making the original mod a little unbalanced, but maybe it'll tempt me to try the higher levels now, lol.

Great mod, very enjoyable to play!
I've tried most of your classes, and this is by far the best thing, since it overhauls an existing element tree as well as adds new spells. I was very surprised to see enemy fire balls leaving scorches on me, so huge respect to you!!

I mainly do divinity solo (as 1 lone wolf hero) playthroughs, therefore one thing troubles me deeply - i cannot do squat about fire-immune enemies... Even with all pyro-debuffs all i do is reduce their healing from fire spells. So as a suggestion to implement: A spell that would nullify targets fire resistance completely for 2-3 turns, or at least half targets fire resistance, dropping it from 200% to 100% for several turns. That way it'll still be possible to drop it further below 100% with scorches, bleed fire, warm status and smoldered debuff from the 'Will of the Phoenix'. Or perhaps a debuff that tripples the effect of Scorches on the target for a few turns, making it do -75% fire resistance.

Even if such spell will cost a Source point, or even 2, it'll still be worth using on fire-immune bosses. Annything is better than killing 2 void-infused fire beatles with my water staff, and that was so much trouble on Tactitian... =D
Again though, great mod and your ideas in general! Love your work, keep it up!

P.S. If anybody replies something like: "add water spells", i'll 5-stack scorch that person to death and explode his corpse... The whole idea of playing a -mancer class is to fully devote yourself to one element and reveal it's full potential and all the secrets.

P.S.S. If anybody, playing full pyro with this mod, found a way to bypass 200% fire resistant enemies - please let me know how!! I broke my brain so many times trying to find a solution... =P

I've noticed one more thing - both Fire Whip and Burning touch hit single target, yet the Whip does significantly more damage while also leaving a Blind debuff. And since Burning touch is a melee spell, i use it way less often in combat. Perhaps it's only me and my playstyle but i think that spells which are harder to land should do more damage or at least be more threatening in some other way. If i'm missing something here, feel free to let me know, i'm open to different opinions as long as they're objective. Cheers!

Hey! Thank you so much for your kind words - always love to hear people enjoy my mods!

Purifying Fire does cleanse Fire Immunity from enemies, but as it is a late-game spell there isn't room to use it against earlier enemies with Fire Immunity. Good point about Burning Touch and Fire Whip -> Burning Touch's burn lasts longer, and I have originally designed it to last 3 turns but with Torturer it was pretty strong! Here's a good solution -> I'll add a Fire Immunity removal on Burning Touch, making it a more attractive option whilst helping solo-runs.

      Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks for hearing me out. Many modders don't concider solo-runs a possibility and therefore forget about element-immune enemies, so it's nice to see you listen to the community of all sorts. Not sure if Cryomancer class was yours or Helaene's but it suffers the same issue. At least Harpy has piercing damage and there isn't many air-immune enemies anyway, so she's great fun too! =D

One more thing though, not sure if it's a bug or intended, yet unlike your spell list suggests, Sol’Lithe only started selling the ' Epidemic of Fire' book on 13 and 'Ragnarok' is still not available anywhere (I'm 14 now). It's not a problem at all, just fyi... =))

Thanks again for your feedback. With the newest update, I've fixed the skillbook issues and buffed Burning Touch - it now deals more damage and cleanses Fire Immunity. This should make mono-Pyro runs feel much less tedious to play.

      Enjoy!

excellent mod, I have tried this and the Spectre mod and both work great. Can you maybe work on a storm mage mod?. Improving the aerothurge magic school with more lightning skills.
