Sorry for not answering here, I'm currently not playing DOS2, I know there are many bugs and things that doesn't work properly, if anyone want to give it a try and work on those issues, feel free to check this commit, it shows how I did this mod (credits are on the description).
Seeing all these party mods, it's possible to make a mod were all the godwoken survives after act 1? Not really an expansion mod just like this one, but just to make them available in the ship if you want to switch around?
Do you have to start a new game with this mod loaded to make it work? I loaded it not long after I reached Fort Joy in a new game and it's not working.
i've noticed that when you are fighting your reflections in the arena only three companions will fight with you, after you've defeated them and are back on the lady vengeance you're only able to talk to the 3 you've fought with, the other 3 you can't interact with. If there is one specific companion you want to be able to interact with you'll have to go to the lady vengeance before you enter the arena, dismiss everyone and then recruit everyone. the first three you recruit will fight beside you and will be interactable.
A problem with other Party Expansion mods is that it won't play any of the flavor text on each interaction (like when you head into the Chapel in Fort Joy). Whenever it would rotate around to the 4th party member plus it would just end up blank without anyone speaking.
I keep refreshing this page each day waiting for some kind of answer. Don't want to start a new play through only to find a game breaker 20+ hours in. Someone put us out of our misery! :)
It does not. Normally I can work around it by splitting my party before the dialogue starts, but I'm stuck at the scene right after the escape from Fort Joy as all of them are together
edit: managed to get past it by sending away two of them, boarding the ship, then having them rejoin me afterwards
This is a problem with the engine, not the mod authors. Larian didn't intend for us to have more than 4 party members so it's coded that way. The only thing you can do is learn to live without the extra comments or try some of the workarounds others are using. It's a choice of what is most important to you; their comments or more party members.
Hello, May i ask if someone tested the Romance stage at the end of the game if its works with this mod? Because i know that with last party size mods it was bugged and you can not speak with lohse or sibbile. It is more important for me than reaction of companions :D
In the dungeon of Ft Joy just before you go through the door after getting the key and fighting the hound master, each NPC talks . When it gets to the 4th it bugs and you can't click continue to move on to the next. You can't end dialog. Stuck and can't play any further.
thank you (and other modders) for trying to do something a lot of people have requested. I am going to use the cheat commander mod and test-run the game with the mod through all the acts and dialogue!
